Lin, beverly and lillard would be the best PG rotation in the league.

Not disagreeing with that, but that doesn't make it a good deal for them.

Portland would be pulling an OKC and trading for 50 cents on the dollar. If they're dumb enough to do it, then I'll love it, but surely they would get MUCH better offers than that for arguably the best PF in the league.

Seriously the best we can offer them would be Asik, Jones, Canaan and picks.

It can be topped if other teams are interested, but it would make them a playoff team. The last two spots are up for grabs now that the Lakers have fallen out and the Nuggets went backwards and the Jazz are tanking. I think Minny will grab one.

    Lillard/Canaan
    Mathews
    Batum
    Jones
    Asik/Leonard

No way we get LMA without giving up Asik AND Parsons. There will be too many good deals out there, better deals.

Exactly, question is, do we seriously let a player of Aldridge's caliber get away by hanging on to pretty boy Parsons. He's good but not that good.

My guess is Asik, Parson, and Jones get it done. Hmm...

    Howard/Smith
    Aldridge/D-Mo
    Garcia/Casspi
    Harden
    Lin/Beverly/Canaan

From who? And when? Portland wants a replacement franchise player for him and that's not happening. Even Melo, DWill, and Dwight couldn't get their teams equal value. Like the article pointed out, LMA has all the leverage if Portland waits until next offseason. All he has to do is say "I will only sign an extension if traded to a team that I want" and all those better deals will dry up. The Rockets are probably one of a few teams willing to take a chance on a one-year rental of LMA.

The real question is of course LMA is better than those two guys (asik and Parsons) but is he a good fit?

I think there is a risk that LMA will demand touches from Dwight and Harden and that it may not just work out so well. I guess we will get to see how Parsons and Asik will work for at least half a year hopefully.

asik + first rounders + fillers probably needed to get lamarcus along with a 3rd team involved.

We don't know from who yet.

But if Portland is patient about it unlike OKC they are going to get some great deals.

Just throwing some things out there, Cleveland has Waiters and a bunch of other young prospects and picks. I think that will be a attractive option.

We don't really know, but I think they can get some really good young players for him and that sending him to us will not be their first option.
