Blazers agree to two-year deal with Chris Kaman

I believe Hawes was out of their price range. They felt as they couldn't get him, so they moved on to their next option. I think he can be a very solid player at that salary. he'll put up 10pts / 7 reb in 20 mins and will give them solid production off the bench.

 

Good, another Center Dwight can beast on.

 

i thought he'd be a good backup center for us. we don't have a lot of legit post options.

while the rockets wait for lebron, wade, bosh... sefalosha, kaman, and other options that could've stocked our bench are signing deals.

if the rockets strike out on the big names, they may return to the free agent pool to find it dried up.
