That 2002 Kings game would STILL get my blood pressure up if I were a Sac fan. Totally inexcusable... what a joke.
This year's playoffs is missing the teams with biggest markets in NBA. Knicks, Lakers, and Celtics. NBA is doing everything it can to recoup some of those losses. I mean, it's so bad that the Heat are selling playoff tickets at a discount as compared to regular season. Sure you have the Nets which will bring in some from New York and Clippers who'll bring in some viewers from LA, but you won't get the kind of fan that will spend on merchandising and pay price-gouged game tickets. They're trying to extend all series and milk the fans as much as they can. /conspiracytheory
The ref situation was a atrocious. The calls that were made were head scratchers, and the missed calls were even worse. Bottom line is, while the refs gave the game to the blazers, the Rockets let the game get to a point where officiating played a role. Truth be told, losing to the blazers by 2 on a career night from Aldridge, an amazing Lillard performance, a lackluster Harden and Howard showing isn't the worst thing in the world. It sucks, but the blazers had to pull out a whole bag of tricks to get that one in the books.
didnt read the whole thread but bad calls were made. check the replays. rocket fans aren't the only ones saying the refs blew this game.
I wouldn't put much stock in Portland fans opinions. They cry about the refs even when the opposing team has shot 0 FTs in the half.
fans that attended last night should class action suit for paying for a false game. As part of the class action suit I want damages for lost work today staying up for that abortion of a 'game'
I never said anything about that particular foul... I said overall, the refs bad calls were not one-sided... which they weren't... One call they got wrong does not a game make....
The refs were terrible last night. The league itself admitted they blew a big call. In this case, they share blame. As long as we hold our players accountable as well. And most people do that in many forums. I vent on here only because I don't want to bug people I actually know. Facebook rants are the worst. Lol. Nobody likes that kind of person.
Amazing that we took POR to overtime and only lost by 2 considering it was 5v8 most of the game. The free throw disparity was so blatant the officials actually had to start calling phantom fouls on POR just to give the illusion that they were being incompetent on both sides!
Last time I checked Vegas has Game 2 as Rockets -6.0. That's not a coincidence folks. The entire game will essentially be a "make-up call" for the refs.
Complaining about poor officiating against the portland trailblazers is stupid. Rockets fans will never have games called against their team like the blazers did during the drexler era.
I failed to understand the logic behind this. Because Portland has suffered from bad officiating in the past, it must now be corrected at the expense of Houston??? Today the referees have the option to review their calls. The coaches should have 3 calls to review a decision (like in tennis). The work of a 82 game season is on the line. It seems fair to me to have such an option.
You're right. The ref's almost won that game, but it was taken away by the rockets, who also lost the game. Who won?
Oh look, another blazers fan on clutchfans. remember its just a ride And posters like hmm kills those guys There is a lot invested in this ride This has to be real But
