Blame McHale all you want...but Moreyball is our biggest problem

    -Teams have figured out how to play us now. We're not getting the same looks or the calls we rely on every game

    -Moreyball has become a one trick pony. If you take away the 3's we lose

    -James Harden "carrying all the load" is a myth. We have absolutely no set plays which usually results in James ISO's w/ 5 secs left on the shot clock. Absolutely no cutting, weakside screens or misdirection plays

    The better teams get more efficient shots. If the only thing we can get is contested 3's & ft's (which we'll only make 50% of) then either we need a overhaul or Moreyball needs to go completely.

    You can take out mid range shots you just need a better system. One on one hero ball ain't gonna cut it.

    Mchale is just a puppet. Morey pulls all the strings here. A control freak that micromanages the whole team. He really thinks he's a genius.

    The Rockets often is garbage I must agree the rockets offense is garbage I must agree I've seen better ball movement in highschool bball games

    If your two superstars don't play well...it really doesn't matter what the coach and GM do.

    This is BS. The warriors have virtually the same play style as us, just a better offense and sets and ways to get the same shots

    That's coaching

    True. But we're solely dependant on Harden offensively. When Curry went out last game, we STILL got our azzes kicked because GS got their role players easy buckets.

    I clicked in expecting stupid. And you did not disappoint.

    The best three point shooting team in the universe just destroyed us after destroying the league last year.

    Therefore Morey ball is stupid bc too many 3s.

    Well, if you're going to follow the most 3pt centered offense in the history of the NBA...get some good 3pt shooters for christ's sake. We do need the midrange, but you need the 3ball to succeed in the NBA today.

    LOL...there is no substitute for a team not being physically fit and conditioned to play an entire game of basketball. There is no subsititute for team chemistry. Doesn't matter the coach,the scheme or whatever else you can conjure up. If Phil Jackson or Pops was coaching this team it wouldn't matter. The starters hadn't played together until last night, Dwight is out of shape, DMO isn't back yet and we can go and on....sorry but Morey ball is the least of this teams concerns at the moment. How about getting in basket ball shape first along with getting in sync with team chemistry..all this will take TIME in my opinion. Til then, feel free to get depressed and want everyone fired including Morey but they're not the one's on the court not executing the same game plan that got them to the Western Conference Finals at the moment

    I guess we can fire Morey for hiring Mchale in the first place?
    I have a feeling we will look better offensively with DMo on the floor. DMo will open up the floor but it will be up to coach to run plays for him and the rest of the guys to knock down the 3.
    DMo post ups, DH / harden PnR for the alley oop, and James ISO. That's 3 plays we have already. Add Lawson to the mix and we Mchale can add maybe another 2 plays to keep the opposing team honest.

    We'll look better when Harden and Howard stop playing like crap.

    They look like they were playing on a back to back
