notice he rebounds less and scores less with cp3 on his team. is cp3 effecting his game in a bad way? I doubt it. I think he wouldn't be as good without cp3... the first year, people were in awe with his athleticism and didn't know how to defend him correctly. Now they keep him out of the paint (well try to) but because cp3 is there, it has made it harder to keep him out the paint and therefore he gets to dunk easily.
There's no doubt CP3 makes everyone on his team better. Anyone that watches and understands the game should know that. It shouldn't even be a question. The reason why Blakes numbers are down is because he's not playing as many minutes compared to previous years because the Clippers are deep and more importantly they're winning with a team effort instead of relying on just 1 or 2 guys. If Griffin had to put up 22+ and 11+ he could. Luckily for Clippers they don't neeed that right now. As Odom continues to get in better shape and Billups and Grant Hill retrurn they're going to be even more well balanced and deeper.
There is a reason. It's called momentum. I'm guessing you've never got up to speed to have it?? Again, I DO NOT LIKE Griffin. But if anything, the player that fouled him should be punished (fined, whatever). It was a very dangerous foul that in no way made a play on the ball.
Jet Li? That's more like Cung Le Spoiler Momentum does not make your feet fly up like that. Sure it was a foul but it got exaggerated to a flagrant.
He couldn't play any worse defensively than he did by the end of last year. He was beyond awful. There were times where he was literally at the three point line on defense with his man standing under the basket. He is an idiot.
Only reason he is playing better defense is because he knows he has Jordan to clean up his mess. Jordan usually does.
In one of them I noticed the offender's arm didn't even straighten out a little bit, from casually snatching all of blake's high speed momentum to a halt like that, with one hand. THAT takes strength!
<iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/z3TB_ZDZnHI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Griffin is a great natural talent, leaping ability is crazy but he needs more game. He needs post up moves and a mid range jumper.
Why would you give a known flopper the benefit of the doubt? I've seen players get grabbed by the arm while going up before and none of them kicked their legs above a 6'9 players head.
Even Mark Jackson was making jabs after the game. "He's a great actor. I've seen those Kia commercials," Jackson said after Golden State's 115-94 win, via Antonio Gonzalez of the Associated Press. The Warriors announcers weren't buying it either (of course they weren't) when watching the replay. "We know that Blake Griffin has been known to flop a little... He just threw himself up in the air didn't he?" one of the broadcasters said.
