It is refreshing. It's too bad, that the consequence is him being injured for so many games and not seeing him play.

after watching the Clippers/Blazers game last night, the Clippers should have won. They made no attempt to get Griffin the ball in the post in the third and fourth quarter and he still managed to get 18 points many of which came on put backs. No one on that Portland team could cover him yet the Clippers kept jacking up perimeter shots.

Let me say it again...he will challenge Duncan as the greatest PF to ever play if he has a healthy career. He is THAT good. His footwork, motor, and overall skillset in the post, coming out of college, is unparalleled.

What a ridiculously premature thing to say.

It's a little early to say that.

Are you predicting Griffin will be better than Elvin Hayes, who averaged 28.4 pts and 17.1 rebs in his rookie season for the Rockets?

Better than Malone and Bob Petit?

Griffin's current style of play is hard to stop, but his body won't last long. He already suffered a season ending injury, yet he still continues to play reckless.

This guy will probably win rookie of the year, and maybe even the mvp, but his body won't last long enough to challenge the greatest of PFs. He has a good chance of becoming one of the best PFs ever, but I doubt he will ever become THE best PF.

John Wall had a sub-par game tonight vs. the Magic.

14 pts (6-19 from field), 9 assists, 3 turnovers. LMAO at some person in this thread predicting he'd avg. 20/8/7.

Blake Griffin is WAY more efficient and consistent than Wall. I don't see how Griffin cannot win the ROY. Unless he has another injury *knocks on wood*

It is almost like you cast some of your comments in a negative light. Hell i think Blake would take someone saying if you carry on being so reckless in your play you will only win ROY, MVP and be one of the greatest PFs in history... lol

And Wall had a bad night and he put up those numbers.

14-9 is a great night for a PG, he was 6 points away from 20 it's not absurd to say he'll average 20ppg and 10apg.

In fact i'm sure he will, his team had a horrible night against a great defensive team...and he still put up good numbers.

A lot of players could have become the greatest ever or at least one of the greatest.

I'm sure if Lebron suffers a horrible injury now and plays like a second round draft pick, he'd still be considered one of the greatest SF to play the game, but he wouldn't be considered THE greatest anymore.

Last year I was psyched about his guy coming out of school, he could really play and was exciting to watch. Now that he's in the NBA and finally healthy I don't think it's a stretch to say he'll easily be a Hall of famer if he stays healthy. He's damn good, but it seems like his movements put a lot of unneeded stress on his legs, particularly his knees. If he could play a bit more under control it would probably help him out in the long run.

Hahaha, yeah, noooo. Tyreke Evans had a beast of a rookie season, won ROY, but was barely 20/5/5 and only a few players in history have ever done that. John Wall at 20/8/7? Are you insane?

20/12 is probably reaching for Griffin too, but it's at least in the realm of possibility.

Did no one notice Evans? Despite all the bust label people were piling, he seemed to have an all around game on both ends. He was solid defending Lebron AND Wade at different times and had great feel around the basket on the offensive end. I actually think he'll surprise if they happen to trade Iguodala later on.

    Child, please.

Don't ever compare an unproven, 21-year-old rookie to a 4-time NBA Champion, 3-time NBA Finals MVP, 2-time league MVP, and 12-time All Star.

Griffin's superior athletically, but he doesn't have the low-post polish, mid-range game, or craftiness of Timmy D.

Ludicrous comparison at this point in time.

Griffin is a PF while Wall is a PG.

Griffin should be more efficient. Wall definitely has to work on his jumper though.

I drafted him at round 12 and am so far pleased with what he's shown (though there's only been one game).

"IF" Griffen or any major clippers player get injured they do have a chance to fight for that 8th spot...they have the talent to do so.

i think Suns or Jazz will miss the playoffs this year. my bold prediction lol
