it's preseason but it's not the D-league, summer league, or europe. He's playing against NBA level guys and is putting up incredible numbers every single night man! 23/18, 24/14, 13/17, 23/9, 17/14
Holy ****. DD may be right on this guy. He could very well be the best PF in the league in a couple years and stay that way for years to come. His rebounding rate is ridiculous too. He could end up a better board cracher than Howard or even Love.
Spoiler HTML: <DD> LOL ... Gotta swing at the ball knock it outta the park guys ! ! ! Spoiler HTML: </DD>
Blake Griffin with 13 pts, 7 rebs at halftime vs. Blazers. For those of you who thought he couldn't translate his stats from pre-season to the regular season, think again!!!
Amazing!!! You just can't take your eyes off him! I can't recall that I have ever seen a big man who played like him!
20/14 to end the night against a serious contender in the Blazers. It was like 10 offensive rebs and 4 def rebs too. He plays way too hard though; he needs to realize that this is an 82 game season, not a 10 game season. Though he is young, he has to be cautious, since he WAS hit by the injury bug.
eh i love the way he plays. full throttle all the time, refreshing to see. as long as he doesnt average ridiculous minutes and gets good rest between games he should be perfectly fine. dude is a beast.
I would have traded Yao for him before he came out......made a thread about it, got killed for it, but Blake Griffin is going to be a SUPERSTAR in this league. DD

Look at his leg/foot right after the dunk and how he lands
Yep would do that too, I would trade anyone on the team for him......he is a special player....will be top 3-5 in the league in a year or so..... DD
Good point. His feet went one way, and his torso twisted another way. He could have just as easily landed in a straighter manner. If he is always this wreckless, he could be the next yearly injury like Oden.
Isn't it refreshing to see a guy play without fear? I mean other players will soon start to cower from him as he asserts himself. Dang it......why wouldn't we trade a healthy Yao Ming for that number 1 pick......ARGHHHHHHH !!! DD
Blake Griffin is the real deal. The prototypical power forward. He's an amazing athlete. He's such a quick leaper, especially for a guy that size. The guy has an all-around game. No real weaknesses other than slightly short arms, which may lead to turnovers due to a high dribble. He just needs to polish his overall game, but there's not one thing he can't do. He'll be unstoppable once he develops a go to move.
Chuck Barkley was on the Dan Patrick show today glowing about Griffin and his quickness on the jump. If you recall, Barkley was very quick and physical for his size, now you have a similar physical and quick player only Griffin is 6'10" tall.... My gawd this guy is a beast. DD
