Blake Griffin or Dirk Nowitzki?

how is "Dirk on the way out" is beyond me.
Because he came out of the lockout out of shape and injured and had a bad start of the season?

 

I have to ask - what time frame are we talking about? Next season I would take Dirk. After that who the heck knows? Probably, maybe Blake.

He's 34. He'll be declining in a year or two if not this season.

 

Blake Griffin is indeed a amazing player but nowhere near the level Dirk is. Dirk is just an amazing scorer while Blake is an amazing power player.

Dirk doesn't rely on his athleticism much. I agree that he'll obviously see less and less minutes as he gets even older, a la Duncan, but this is the only way his stats will decrease: DNP - Too old!
