Dude is 90's Utah Jazz dirty. I'm glad he got traded to Detroit. It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. And it probably wouldn't have.

Just rewatched the plays leading up to this. Gordon hits a three on him. Next he tries to pass out of the post and Harden takes it right out of his hand.

Instead of playing harder, Griffin thinks 'Oh my precious little ego is hurt... I got traded to a sh*t team... Maybe i'm not that good... I will now try to ruin James Harden's (and the Rockets) entire MVP season.'

    What a piece of sh*t.

That would probably be for the best.

Intentional af. You can tell he was going to plant his foot, then noticed he could get in the way of Harden landing so steps further than he needs to. Look at his previous step, aswell, good indication of what his next step should look like but hell naw he takes a stride and a half

This was potentially catastrophic, but we need to be smart here and sit Harden for at least a week. We can't another Kawhi situation on our hands.

Somebody someday on some team needs to grab the rebound and put an elbow in that guy's jaw.

I can't believe you assholes just made me watch 20 minutes of Bruce Bowen and Blake Griffn videos. Trying to drink my morning coffee and I'm already all riled up.

Watching the video again now it's just so clear he is skipping his way to harden instead of jumping. The way he brings his left leg together with his right and then extends his left - just watch this video focusing on his legs and you can see how intentional this was.

Ginobili did crap like this too to Aaron Brooks on almost a halfcourt shot too, right? Jump stopped and landed purposefully underneath him... AB returned and was never the same.

The Bowen clip of him saying "Who, me?" on espn is incredibly galling. "Yeah, some shooters may have landed on my feet." That defensive technique is also known as "The Kam". I don't know how Vince Carter refrained from kicking Bowen's ass right there on the 3-pt line.

Is walking under an airborne shooter like that considered a technical or flagrant foul in the NBA rule book? If it's not already in place, there needs to be a rule that clearly states a player is subject to heavy penalty if they do something like that. It can't just be a normal foul. The NBA does so much to protect outside shooters in our game and yet allows them to remain vulnerable to that maneuver.

I am really shocked that the league did nothing about it. You step under a guy 3 times injuring him almost a third time and they do nothing?

The penalty should be a year suspension in cases like Bowen. When you do it multiple times it is no longer an accident by mere virtue that you haven't corrected a dangerous behavior. If a guy dislocates different guys shoulders over and over - eventually you know there's some kind of intent.

Griffin action was intentional. There is no reason to move the way he did at all. You'd never contest a shot that way - by skipping sideways into a player. I really really hope the league reviews this further and makes an example of Griffin.

It's a normal foul but can be called a flagrant but clearly that's not enough of a deterrent when your team isn't going to be in the playoffs.

I saw this coming the other day when ol buddy pushed CP3. Teams are going to be taking little cheap shots against us these last few games. If we play CP or Harden, it should only be for minimal minutes. I'm not sure why MDA played Harden 40 minutes on a bum ankle in a completely meaningless game. That's a bad coaching decision

Blake thought if he could take out harden, CP3 wouldn’t go far in the playoffs

What is your theory on why the league doesn't impose much stricter penalties for something like this? Clearly, they'd have all the incentive in the world to abolish intentional walk-unders. Thrown punches get heavy suspensions. Why not this?
