Clippers just announced that both those two guys will be out for the remaining of the playoff this year. Paul just had the surgery on his hand today. Now Blazers should move into the 2nd round.
They should clean house this summer. If they play their cards right they can insert themselves in the Westbrook sweepstakes next summer and bring the UCLA product home.
Honest question: What the hell have the Clippers done to deserve this!?! Seriously the unluckiest NBA franchise
Blake Griffin ain't exactly a sympathetic figure after this season. And I still think the DeAndre situation was handled poorly.

It'll be interesting to see what they can get for an very talented, though very injury prone, power forward.
Maybe. Let's see if he even returns at full effectiveness. If he comes back with no explosion in the knee, they won't be able to beat the Spurs. If he does come back at near-100% in time for the conference finals and the Warriors are still alive--yes, deal confirmed.
His hamstring (I believe) never fully healed. I remember a few weeks ago it was discussed and Griffin even made a comment about it was the first time he was thinking to himself "please don't throw this too high" on an alley.
Why would the Thunder do that? Durant is better and both are free agents after next season (technically, he's signed for 2017-18, but he has an early termination for that year, as I recall).
I've long thought Blake Griffin to be a perfect fit next to James. Blake+Durant+Harden would be crazy... albeit not the best defensively. But the Rockets are now in the unenviable position of not having trade-able assets. Very hard to see the Clippers excited about Trevor Ariza, Clint Capela and future draft picks, lol. I thought it was a tough road for them when completely healthy. I think that team is too micromanaged. Partly Doc. Partly CP3. I love CP3 and he's been so f'ing consistently good year after year after year. But I really think he just overmanages the game, and as a result you've seen playoff struggles. Sometimes you just have to let it go and play ball. Plus now the injuries.
If Durant tells okc he's leaving I think the trade makes sense for both sides. Sign & trade get something for him
