lol dude you dont need the all 22 film to see how weak bortles' arm is.. you say things like there are nfl scouts that think he has plus arm strength. well then post them, post your quotes from nfl scouts claiming this.. you wont even watch the games, continue to be a sheep..
lol the same scouts who thought russell wilson was a 3rd/4th round talent... Gotta watch the film and form your own opinion. I see what you see in Bortles.
Maybe you two should go get a scouting job with an NFL squad? Let me guess. I bet neither one of y'all played a lick of college ball?
If Russell Wilson was in this draft I wouldn't take him with the #1 pick either... Only if we had Seattle's defense and Lynch...
He's the second coming of Brady Quinn without the effeminate throwing motion. Brady Quinn was a wet dream for the "tools" people.
Blake Bortles has a very weak arm. It's hilarious when he loads up and delivers a 50 yard floater. Just look at the way his balls flutter and have no spiral. He tends to over throw as well when he has to throw further then 20 yards. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJueUfQjMbc Now look at a 2nd round prospect like Carr. He slings the ball effortlessly. How is Bortles the #1 pick and Carr a 2nd rounder? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Guk3kvrFBzc

This is going to turn into Pete Carroll taking another safety over the guy he coached in college dilemma (Earl Thomas over Taylor Mays). The QB edition.
Is there more to it than what's in the article linked from the tweet? Because that article is pretty harmless - all he's saying is that the Andrew Lucks and Peyton Mannings of the world come around once every 10 years, and that none of the QBs in this class are like that - I think everyone would agree with that. He didn't say Bortles would be bad, just that any of the QBs in this year's draft will take a year or two to learn and become good. That's not an unreasonable thing to say.
I seriously doubt McNair would have approved Bortles being drafted with the #1 pick regardless of what was said about him... But this will probably kill all speculation of it.
This guy never had a shot TB or Manziel are the only 2 real possibilities. TB SHOULD be the the pick, we'll see what happens.
