Just out of curiosity who did you want in 2006?

lol this reminds me of how much of a clown bigtex is.. he was posting things like "another 50 yard TD for bortles" in the game thread, ignoring that both 50 yard TDs were screens with pretty much 100 YAC on those 2 plays..

Is it wrong to tag Bortles as a safer pick, but with a lower ceiling?

Is Texx a Bortles supporter simply because Bortles is white?

    no, for the 100th time

read the thread and don't be lazy

I support Clowney #1. And I have no problem with black QBs -- Warren Moon was one of my favorite players (until he beat his wife)

He has been a late riser up the draft boards. I think in regards to safest, it would go.

    Bridgewater-best overall QB

Clowney-Best overall prospect character issues or not

Bortles-ability to be a great player

Manziel-Biggest reward/risk prospect in this draft

I say Manziel is the safest pick. If he turns into a bust, then management can always cry out, "but we went with the fan favorite! No one panned this pick when it was first made."

    Arm strength is a plus

    Size is a plus

    Mobility is a plus

I think he has the most potential out of the Qb's not named Manziel, although he is the most risky pick.

I think he is the 3rd best Qb in the draft right now with a second round grade!

I'd take Bridgewater first. He seems pretty safe from a QB stand point and I do not think the Texans are a 2 win ball club if that same season was played over again. I think Teddy makes this team a playoff squad from day 1.

People undervalue that 2-1 pick as it is basically a late first rounder as there will be teams late who won't be picking BPA.

have you watched bortles play? his size is his only plus, his arm based on intermediate 10-20 yard throws is weaker than bridgewater and manziels. bortles has a noodle arm theres a reason hes had an nfl comparison to matt schaub.. this guy is 100% mock draft hype.. the GM that drafts him in the top 10 will be fired in 2 years..

bortles lacks velocity, you can see it when hes throwing those curls that take forever to arrive to its target. his strongest throws you see him load up and thats mostly on deep balls and his deepball dies in the air similiar to matt schaubs.. saying he has a plus arm is laughable.

Plenty of NFL scouts would disagree with you.

do you form your own opinion or just repeat what you read from handpicked scuting reports? watch bortles vs akron, penn state.. this guy plays pitch and catch with his receivers. he rarely tests dbs, and when he needs to use zip you will see him load up at the cost of accuracy.. he reminds me of a less sluggish matt schaub.. he will make a strong throw here and there kind of like schaub used to. his arm is teetering on average to below average.. his intermediate passing game screams jumped routes in the NFL..

They are professional scouts opinions. They watch real film.

You watch YouTube videos. My opinions form from those who actually matter. Thanks for your opinion, but I'd take Bortles in the second round only.

    Stop being annoying.
