Lenard's injured..but Nikoloz and Nene wouldn't be bad at all. Then watch Jimmy like become an All Star.
The whole team misses open jumpers. In fact this team misses more wide open jumpers than any team I can ever remember. We should change our team's name to the Houston Acmes...because we are tossing up tons of bricks. DD
I quote haven's entire post here because that's exactly what I want to say. People here talking about JJ as our 3rd best player, he is not even close. There are only two players can consistently get shots off, that's Yao & TMac. Mo & Howard are the next option after those two on the offensive end. JJ should only take open shots, cut to the hoops. He is not capable of doing other things on the offensive end. We don't need him as a leader here, his presents delays/hurt the leadship development for Yao & TMac. Just look at past few games when he wasn't playing, TMac & Yao were commanding the ball, everyone else knew where the ball should go; with him on the court, he asked the ball like he was equal as TMac/Yao, it made those two hesitating, confused other players as well. People here need to understand that JJ has been let go by almost half of the teams in the league; he was unemployed for a period of time; he was not wanted by the Kings when he openly begging for the contract. There must be some reason for those teams did what they did, because those are basketball people, they know what they were doing.
i whole-heartly agreed with you. now JJ is back, we got blew out. look at his 3ptr shoot attempts... his way of handling balls... JJ must go. There is a reason this guy roamed between 11 teams...
jj is a tradable asset on the decline. last year he was shooting more consistantly. this year he is john starks. he can make 3 in a row and when he gets his 4th open look its way off, then he will miss another 3 in a row. he is a nice shooter and a nice rebounder for his size. but he can make a nice package with lue and our pick. sure denver would be interested in jj and our pick but its not enough for nene. they won't even trade nene to a western team anyway. G.S, N.O., SEA, and TOR would all like jj. toronto seems like a perfect match. they need a back-up PG, they would definitely want our pick, and they want to remodel the team.
I don't know why they would treat Nene as so untouchable - he hasn't overpowered anybody ever. I know he was injured this year, but he's barely playing any and even the past two years, though he looks like he has the potential, he hasn't tapped it at all yet. One would assume Troy Murphy on Golden State is even more untouchable then Nene, no?
JJ gets wide open alot He misses extremely wide open jumpers too often, most of his shots are very wide open, he is not missing jumpers with a hand is his face that are just about empty gym shots JJ gets wide open alot
personally.. i like Jim Jackson, BUT i honestly think his Defense more overrated than Cameron Diaz's looks!! (sorry to all the Cameron Diaz fans out there!) But yah, the man should come off the bench
it is sad to see a 35 year-old play 40+ minutes per game. Did this every happen to any other player? i thought young players supposed to play more minutes when a team is in building mode.
I forgot to mention his MPG is ranked no.7 in the league, take a look at other top MPG players, and do the EASY comparison. I do not find any other 20- PPG player on this list except JJ's 13.6 points per game. JVG needs to do something different. _ 1. Kobe Bryant (Los Angeles Lakers) _ 2.
