I wouldn't say they were flying off the shelves, but if I would've shown up around 8 or 9AM, they would've been all gone. I stopped by Circuit City again last night and none were left. There were maybe 8-10 available.
Other than televisions, I noticed that alot of same deals can be found throughout the year if you monitor those deal sites. Alot of those deals posted in this thread (like memory, media, storage) and another thread, I've seen better deals in the past few months. Thus for me its kind of a big waste of time to even cue in line. But I guess, for someone buying a HDTV its ok.
I don't know if you wanted a specific model/brand/speed, but you can get 1GB DDR2 memory for around $20-$25 with no rebates to worry about at Newegg.com.
I just grabbed an 80GB PS3 at Wal Mart with 10 free Blu Ray movies instantly, and another 5 by mail. This is probably the best deal I have ever gotten. PS3 $500 10 BR $300 5 BR $150 That's $950 worth of stuff for $500. Happy shopper.
