Yeah, there is a double standard for sure. Fact is that the NCAAP & ADL carry a lot more power than....who is the Asian American lobbying group??? Should journalists get fired for being making statements that are racists outside the context of their job? Well, that's up to their employers truth be told. But it would be nice if this country got a bit more thicker skin.

FOX news host makes racist comment about congresswoman Waters Fox News host Eric Bolling — who is fond of discussing President Obama’s penchant for “chugging 40′s” and inviting “hoodlum in hizzouse” and the “crib” — told Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) this morning that she should “step away from the crack pipe.” While discussing Waters strong rhetoric about bankers and the GOP leadership, Bolling, without any apparent relevancy aside from the fact they are both African-American women, offered some friendly advice: “Congresswoman, you saw what happened to Whitney Houston. Stupid. The first part of the statement regarding the hoodlums in hizzhouse or whatever actually does sound racist in nature, but the Maxine Waters comment isn't. Whitney Houston just died. It's big on the news. I told a white person yesterday to lay off the crack pipe before he ends up like Whitney. The relevancy between the two is that in the commentator's opinion you'd have to be high to think what Maxine thinks. Of course right now people talking about the crackpipe (which is common when calling someone crazy or out of their mind) it's easy to jump to Whitney Houston in an attempt to be clever.
