Colts and Titans jobs are probably the most sought after. The potential of coaching Luck or Mariota in a lackluster division? Sign me up.
After all the speculation with Kelly trying to figure out a way to get Mariota in the draft, it would be interesting to see him end up with the Titans and see if he can really enact his vision with his favorite QB.

LOL Who was it, the GM Baalke or owner York (or both) who ran off Harbaugh?

Niners announce Jim Tomsula fired
— Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) January 4, 2016

Do not be deceived. Would likely be a colossal failure, and would set-back Mariota more than it would Kelly (who could always run this gimmick and succeed in college). I don't see him getting better production out of a QB than he got with Foles... and that was before the book got out on this offense. Its also telling that nobody else has attempted to emulate this sort of system elsewhere (hell, even the run and shoot had about 3-4 teams trying to do it at one point). Biggest knock on Mariota was whether or not he was simply a system QB... he showed that he can do more than that this year... but years 2-4 are so critical in a QB adapting and eventually succeeding in the NFL, I'd think he'd be better off without the gimmick.
This is insane. IIRC, Pettine was their 5th HC choice. Don't see how they think it will go any better this time around.
How does Jeff Fisher keep his job? Hasn't had a winning season since 08 and is one of the highest paid coaches in the league.
The insiders on the pregame shows said because, in case they re-locate, Jeff Fisher has been through it and can help. Something like that.
This is why I believe the Chargers will keep their coach. The pressure is on the Chargers and Rams to come to an agreement for a partnership on the Inglewood stadium that the Rams owner plans to build. I don't believe anyone wants the Raiders to move back to L.A. other than the fans in LA.
Love Herman but handing the reigns over to a coach with 1 year HC experience in college would be even more insane.
I've heard more than one NFL insider say the Chargers won't make a change. If I'm surprised about any of them, it's the Niners. They knew they were going to stink this season. Why fire Tomsula now?
Tomsula was a terrible hiring and everyone knew it from day 1. Kaepernick would have been another interesting fit with Chip, though he probably won't be back in SF anyways. Tennessee better not give Mularky anything more than a courtesy interview. Jerry Jones needs to break up with Garrett. He's had 1 winning season in his 5 full years.
There is no better team in the 2nd half than the Rams. Always manage to save his job. I think Kaepernick would be a good fit with the Rams next year. Maybe Fisher could regain the magic he had with McNair.
