College recruiting, particularly with the visiting and communication rules they had to implement to prevent bribes and outright, round-the-clock harassment of teenage boys trying to pass classes senior year of high school, is a freaking nightmare. Also, it's way more subjective than the pros.
Atlanta might be the best job out the group. The 49ers roster is getting old, Kaepernick still can't consistently read defenses, and as you said they are in a heck of a division... And the Jets and Bills are in the same division with Belichick. The Bears have to deal with Green Bay, the new improved Lions, and Minnesota are no push overs. The NFC South is up and down but they still have Brees, Cam, and Winston on the way but they have an offense in place with a QB and they do have good young talent on the defensive line and in the secondary. If Rex still wants to coach he should be begging for that job.

Their front office is a mess and they just fired Tom Gamble, the only guy he trusted in the front office.
I think UT should go after him. Strong can go. UT is the richest program in the country they can give him 8mil a year.
As much as I would want Chip Kelly, there's really no way they're giving up on Strong after just one season.
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/12156158/john-fox-denver-broncos-head-coach John Fox out as Broncos coach The Denver Broncos and coach John Fox have mutually agreed to part ways. "I had a productive visit with John Elway this afternoon in which we were both very honest about our time together and how to best move forward," Fox said in a statement Monday. "After this discussion, John and I mutually agreed that the timing was right for this decision."
Looks like Jack Del Rio to the Raiders. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/12165283/oakland-raiders-close-hiring-jack-del-rio-head-coach Would not want him hired if I was a fan, but this is the Raiders and he's probably better than anyone else they would get.
http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/story/_/id/12164253/todd-bowles-new-york-jets-new-head-coach Dude goes from a team with a great defense and a shaky QB situation to a team with...great defense and a shaky QB situation. #BowlesMovement
Sure... but now he's the head coach and can address the offense however he wants. He's been a good candidate for a long time.
Cardinals have Carson Palmer, which I'd take over whatever the heck the Jets have at QB. Rex Ryan did the same thing, except his move was lateral, while Bowles is moving on up.
Jim Tomsula to coach the 49ers... he was the D-line coach UNDER Fangio (who is still there). http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/12168370/jim-tomsula-promoted-san-francisco-49ers-head-coach So, how many defensive head coach hires does that make it this off-season? You can also expect Dan Quinn to land somewhere as well.
