    What city Lil Pun?

We are always in Little Rock for Thanksgiving, so we do the black friday thing there. Last year we were at Best Buy in Bryant at 11 PM the night before and were about the 50th person in line.

We have done Walmart before as well. It was actually nicer as you could wait inside, but we did not want any of the super desired things that year. I believe we got there around 3 AM and were about 5th in line for what we wanted, but the line for other stuff was hundreds of people long.

Best Buy did vouchers. Walmart did not. They do not place the product out early which is actually the toughest thing about Walmart. You have to figure out where they are going to bring the pallets. Many were waiting in the wrong line.

Damn, I might have to venture into Walmart some time on Friday to see the video game and BlueRay selection. For less than $10.

I really feel like you can find a 720p 37incher for way less. For 549 you could have gotten that 47in LG LCD 1080p from Fry's, I think they still sell that. I can't see how you can justify $549 on 37inches of Vizio or 1080p on a 37in set.

    1) I am only interested in 37 inch sets because that is all my entertainment center will hold.

    2) I haven't seen a 37 inch 720p set for sale yet (plenty of 32 inchers are 720p though)

    3) Can you link me to the 47 inch LG? I never saw that, parents may want/need it.

    4) I haven't found a better price/warranty combo for a 37 inch LED tv than that... plus I get Costco's rebate/cashback, which makes it even cheaper.

I think I'm going to take your advice and just settle for a 32 inch Samsung 720p from Target.

It will end up being super cheap after the $50 giftcard that comes with the Xbox.

They've never posted theirs early for a reason.

They like to wait and see what their competitors do for BF. Expect it no earlier than Sunday (like it has been for the last few years).

That's not the only reason, but that is the main reason for it... or so people have said.

The thing about Fry's is over the last few years, they have been a disappointment along with Best Buy in their BF ads. There's much anticipation for their ads, but then it's a big let down when they come out because their door busters are things people can get online, sometimes for even cheaper.

Bestbuy never has anything on sale. They put out weekly ciculars that advertise things that aren't even deals, but I guess that's doable when Circuit City goes down.

I just went to both stores this weekend, I left there feeling liKe this

Well we probably would not bump into you there, so one less person to worry about.

    Happy hunting.

Unless Fry's shows me something awesome, I'm slowly convincing myself to go with that 32" samsung from Target. I plan on getting that Xbox 360 they have on sale and the $50 gift card it comes with would make the tv quite a steal.

as people become more and more computer savvy, best buy will start hurting more and more. stores that dont have a overhead of having an actual building will be able to offer better prices.

and actually i went into a best buy for the first time in a while and found it weird how small there music section is. cds have all but vanished.

What they did the last 2 years was 3 different TVs... 1 small, 1 medium, and 1 large. The small, I believe, was a 32", medium at 47" and a Large at 55". The problem I have with the small and medium TVs are the fact that you can get similar deals online for the brand that they sell. Sometimes, they also hide the full specs (at least the ones that would let you down as a consumer) on the ad itself which is also why I hate their doorbusters on TVs. That Target TV looks pretty good, you MIGHT be able to find something online similar to that on Amazon or Newegg. That xbox deal is pretty good also.
