I bought this same set through Kohl's around March of last year. Decent set of pans. Wish I had got em for $20 though
I think it's very underrated. If you're looking for a TV for the family living room, that's a huge one (60") and it'll get you excellent picture quality, and it's 3D ready. For $600 that is an awesome deal as long as you're not overly particular about wanting a flat panel. Hmm... should I? http://www.chronoshark.com/
Is this available online tonight??? Is the $189 laptop available at Best Buy or not? Didn't see it in the ad today.
I did some very brief research after seeing that deal...seems like you will need to change the bulb a few times during the life of the TV. And it looks like they're ~$100 a pop. I decided to pass. It still sounds like a good deal though.
If you're talking about the Excel spreadsheet, it's the same one I posted. Pugsly's link works, too. You can also use the Fatwallet search feature to find stuff : Here's the original post with the Fatwallet thread and the Fatwallet "search" feature : http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=5716143&postcount=108
I have a 52" rear projection LCD, bought it 2005. I've had to change the lamp once, late last year. It warns you well ahead of time. Bought it on Thanksgiving Day and till this day I'm thankful for that deal. It looks great, it's huge and has great pic quality. You just have to buy a replacement lamp every 3 to 4 years.
Got it. Obviously I'm not familiar with DLPs at all. Is replacing bulbs dummy proof? Power consumption also bothers me, but from what you said I might reconsider. Seems like an automatic in your case though.
Same here...got a 50" rear projection...bout 5 years I think and the lamp warning light went on back in the Summer. Have yet to replace it, but it's getting close to that time (top of the screen has darkened). To spend a couple hundred to replace the lamp and extend the tv for another 4-5 years before I have to buy a new one, well that's a win in my book.
Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Seriously, though, people up here started waiting at Toys R Us and Fry's since 4pm and 1pm this afternoon. People are nuts. It's in the mid-30's out there. They set up tents outside the store to camp. lol.
yeah but $75 shipping sucks. Takes it from 300 to 375 wayy to much of a percentage jump for the price turns it from an awesome deal to just 'pretty good'
For those still looking to buy a TV and not a fan of rear projection: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...610-_-EMC-112610-Index-_-LCDTV-_-89005083-L0A LG 47" 1080p Wireless LCD TV, $600. Starting at midnight pacific time until it sells out.
So it looks like I missed out on the $200 laptop deals? I need a new one, and all I use mine for is to surf the net, watch some movies (or live streaming TV) and listen to music. Oh viewing photos too. Are those surround sound systems under $200 good units, and do you have to go to the store for them (ie no online sales)?
