i'm buying a computer for my son. shopping for a good deal.

i never said i don't buy gifts for people, including my own kids.

unfortunately, i can't get best buy to ship a flipping netbook to any store in town.

 

So why bother with black Friday? Do you think you're getting a deal that day? If you do you need to look between your legs.

Merchants are notorious with misleading labels with sales that aren't a thing, only to the naivety of the customer.

But don't do this black friday crap. It's crap, and you know it.

 

i'm not hitting up a store, if that's what you mean. i'm visting wife's family out of town, and have been woken up 3x already by kids.

the particular item i'm buying seems to be cheaper this weekend through a best buy sale by about $50. if i can catch that, great. if not, i'll still end up buying it.

Let's see what happens. Buy the item on Black Friday, and let's see how it fluctuates. (And there is no such thing as "one of a kind.")

 

Very happy to see that Fry's BF ad has nothing I'm interested in.

I agree. Black Friday is over rated. You can get the same deals year round if you search around on those deal sites.

 

dammit, anybody interested in the Fry's Laptop? Just noticed it doesnt have the number pad on the right side of the keyboard my dad wanted (he's an accountant). Trying to cancel the order but not sure if I can till tomorrow.

 

No you don't. There are exclusive deals. Last year, I got the newest acer netbook model at the time with 6 cell battery for $198, online. Still have yet to see a deal as good throughout the year that I had it.

 

Mmm, Mad Men blurays all seasons for 10 bucks each at Amazon. Yes please.
