Does anyone know if the BF ads in the newspaper come out tomorrow or if they come out Wednesday? I'm pretty damn sure they come out on Sunday... but I was told that they would come out on Wednesday this year.
I seem to remember reading the ads after thanksgiving dinner, so I'm thinking Thursday. Could be wrong though. Theyre probably all available online now anyway.
I think I've settled on Friday @ Target for the Xbox w/ giftcard and Saturday @ Walmart for the 37" Vizio LCD w/ giftcard. I need to start working on my Mario Williams swim move for when the door busts open, I plan on taking no prisoners.
You sure that's the swim move you want to practice? Better start grabbing tape on Dwight Freeny, Mario's Swim move needs a life guard present at all times.
Whatever you guys do, be sure to check the weather... here in Dallas, it's going from a high of 76 on Wednesday to a high of 45 and a low of 25 on Thursday from the looks of it. I'm sure Houston will see a drop in temps, too. Looks like Houston won't get hit too hard (for now anyway), but it may be rainy out there.
I don't understand Black Friday. Every year, all I hear people talking about is buying TVs. Do you guys buy a new TV every year?
I'm still waiting on Fry's ad... If there's anything there, I might go... if not.. I'll just look around online.
It really sucks to browse this thread as a college student. depressing. Coming to the realization that I can barely spend 20 bucks on my girlfriend for christmas presents, let alone buy something cool on black friday.
Think of it this way, there will be better stuff on sale next year. Everything bought this week will be obsolete in 4 months.
Wow. Unbelievable. What item could possibly be worth sitting outside a whole week for? I mean with the money they're "saving", they could have been actually MAKING money.
Staying out of debt is more important. Everything for sale on Black Friday will eventually come down in price. Buy your girlfriend a single rose and a nice card. If she doesn't feel that's enough, you have bigger problems than being broke.
I'm guessing the Fry's ad will come out Wednesday. That's the only one I'm really looking forward to looking at, but I have a feeling it's going to be trash.
Saving spots for 10 people? Not if I am behind them they aren't. Get in line like the rest of the people.
