All I need is the cpu. I have the monitor and everything. any suggestion or recommendations under $500.
Just some general advice: Definitely look on Amazon for Samsung TV's - they almost always have very large discount coupon codes for them, there is no sales tax and you get free delivery. Plus you can usually get 2 or 3 years interest-free as well. Literally saved over $600 that way on mine vs buying local retail.
so even a better then normal amazon on cyber Monday? no tax, no waiting in line, free shipping? that sounds like something that could work.
"You want me to work on ****** tuesday to?'' "****** tuesday? is this a new holiday?" I TELL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
Walmart had a ton of deals today damn it and I missed it. They had 42 and 52 lcds for like $48 and $798 and then you got a free $100 gift card. They also had the 360 the same way. My friend got 2 of them from different stores and wouldn't let me get one.
Amazon has similar deals for Xbox 360's. For the "Arcade" version, anyway. They're having a "1 day electronics sale". They have the schedule of stuff that will be on sale and at what hour here : http://www.amazon.com/gp/goldbox
There're probably deals on everything somewhere. Canon often offers things like $50 off coupons towards the end of the year, but I'm not sure what's out there this year.
I just noticed you could get the Xbox and other deals from Walmart online, Pun. But they're out of stock online, too. I'd rather have an Amazon gift card than a Walmart one, anyway. But I think the Amazon XBox deal went out of stock, too.
You can purchase a $100 AMEX giftcard from walmart for $105 which will be accepted anywhere American Express is. In addition, I got 10% bing cashback on the Walmart online deal.
Pun, on amazon.com, at the Gold Box link I gave above, apparently there may be another deal at 2pm for the Xbox 360. I'd log in a bit before 2pm. According to bfads, they went out of stock within a minute on the last deal.
They just did the 12pm PST gold box deal for the XBOX and it was literally up for 15 seconds before it sold out. If you can keep up on deals posted you can probably catch something thanksgiving week, and not waste your time in line on Friday.
I look at the Black Friday tv deals and realize I'm not qualified to make an informed purchase. Normally I'm techsavvy, but TV tech and marketing moved too fast while I wasn't in the market, and now the data is so thick you can't tell what's what without a lot of sleuthing. Maybe I'll take some time and search the older threads for a tinman tv tutorial and figure out what it is I'm after.
Im in the same boat. I have a good idea of what I want, but there is simply too many options. Even picking a computer is easier. Im not sure where I want to buy it, manufacture or how beefed up it is with the latest technology. The pricing is also very skewed.
