I might stop by Target in the morning at 5... their ad has some really intriguing small deals... BB and Fry's didn't impress me this year.
Seriously I just don't know laptop prices. I am like an HDTV expert but laptops? Its just too much, especially when I have to consider battery life and deal with processors which I know very little about. So is there a decent laptop deal out there? I kind of like the idea of a big screen... that 17.3in blue Acer at Walmart seems pretty cool. I want Windows 7, 4GB RAM, and a bigger screen. Is that laptop any good? http://www.walmart.com/catalog/prod...&sourceid=18894362751519529566#Specifications Any honest recommendations from someone that knows the game? I don't necessarily need a laptop now, may wait to really research later... don't care for gaming on it btw. I know pretty much everything except processors.
Ehhh, it'll just be an extra TV for my dorm or something... Probably should line up at Target soon. :/
Hey guys.. I'm a Black Friday Virgin. Looking to change that this time around.. I plan on going to Best Buy and trying to grab a copy of L4D2. What do you guys think the availability will be like? What time should I go?
What do you guys think about this TV from circuit city? I dont think its a black friday deal, but bing cashback is having extra cash back (12.2% for circuit city). 26" Toshiba - 720p Its only 720p, but I'm just looking for a solid TV for my bedroom. I think the end price after cash back comes to around 290.
I was up late last night but I'm feeling good enough to sleep in tonight. Good hunting, everyone. I would consider that computer a low-mid range buy so my target price for it would be around 400 for a decent deal and lower for a hot deal. An example would be this computer. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...EFL112709-_-LaptopsNotebooks-_-L0A-_-34115667 Which is a good buy with 10% Bing Cashback but what it doesn't have (discrete graphics card, Core2Duo instead of Dual Core) makes the discounted price only a good buy instead of a hot deal. This is my valuation, and I'm aware that some netbooks cost 360+tax, but then those netbooks are a lot smaller, last longer and are geared towards a different purpose. A hot deal would be this pre-BF Frys brought out. http://www.frys.com/product/6085598 A simple benchmark site will fill you in on performance. http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_lookup.php?cpu=AMD+Athlon+X2+Dual-Core+QL-65 Knowing what's Dual Core over C2D or what AMD II processors aren't crap takes a little reading, which doesn't take much time if you compare each other when a potential laptop deal surfaces. Still looking for a good desktop deal around the $300 range.
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicat...ffiliateID=lw9MynSeamY-Z22f27Z4QJOr1GM7qDWijg Toshiba 32" 720p. After bing cash back, its about $280.
Well I have no clue if I did "GOOD" or not...but either way I'm happy with the TV I got. 32" Sony Bravia 1080p 120hz Total + Tax: $409.17
