i should clarify that this will not be a texas-themed bar. i am just wodering if it is worth pushing the houston sports angle for the tvs. the place is actually a mash-up of a wuerstelstand ( viennese sausage stand ) and an icehouse. there will be a take-out window as well as a thirty-five foot long bar and some small communal tables. of course there will be great beer and sausages.
Sure, I mean as far as I can tell there's not a single place so far (other than occasionally showing rockets/texans games at Hill Country) that does that, and there are many much smaller transplant cities that have their own gathering places.
