The coach of the other team sounds like an ass. "Making history"?

Those playing for him must've been embarrassed as hell.

Insane. Fire that coach ASAP. He really said people would remember them for holding Curry scoreless? LOL. What an idiot.

In theory it's a good idea by the coach but it sounds like he took it to the absolute extreme. Its one thing to test this approach out while the game is still competitive. Its entirely different if you're still pulling this during garbage time.

This coach sounds pretty full of himself too. Thinking something like this would "make history" and his "i'm no rookie coach...ex-Maryland assistant" line was rather comical.

I like it. But I'm a sucker for arrogant coaches anyway.

You lost the game by 30, it is your job to win games.

And yet you seem proud that you held a player scoreless?

    Idiot.

Exactly. And its a team sport. Who cares about individual accomplishments? Especially in college sports. What horrible philosophy.

Its like having the Giants coming in (best rush offense) and plugging 9 in the box every play. You let Manning throw for 500 but hey look. We held the best rushing attack to 0.

You know what, I don't necessarily agree with it, but he made national news.

If that gets him all tingly then he did his job. I am surprised the kids actually did it the whole game. I bet that was the most unusual game to watch ever.

Selfish coach, only worried about making "history" instead of making plays. I feel bad for the student athletes to have play for this jerk.
