thanks for confirming that you birthers are stupid with your stupid lawsuits answer this question: Are stupid lawsuits supposed to be dismissed/thrown out or complied to?
are you allowed to reveal your source, sounds like you know alot more than some Hawaiian officials!? I would like to see where you got the $$$ figures from.
Because he has no need to. There is no legitimate question that needs to be answered about his birth, and to cave and throw a bone to you freaks who are crying about it would only legitimize you. Give a mouse a cookie...
Why bother? Pay a few legal fees, and in exchange you make the entire Republican Party look like morons. That's an excellent deal. And Jorge, are you actually claiming that Obama was born in Kenya or something. Because if you do, I can send you his Kenyan birth certificate, only it's locked in a safe deposit box and I need your bank account and Social Security number so I would have a safe place to put it in from a trusted person like yourself.
In all seriousness, how much of the birther thought is really a substitute for racial antagonism towards a black president? I suspect a lot... no black person could legitimately be president could they?
I think there is definitely something to that, although in a lot of cases I don't think it's completely about race, it's a lot about him being foreign-ish. Combine those factors with the normal conspiracy theorists and people angry about losing the election and you get a more pronounced effect. If Colin Powell or Condoleezza Rice had become the first black president as a Republican, I think the level of crazy conspiracy theories wouldn't be nearly as high.
Certainly not any more for Powell, and I'd say it's doubtful for Rice as well. (That wasn't really the point, though. )
Now this is a sign that the pro-secrecy crowd has exhausted all of their possible options in this debate. When the libs run out of options, then here come the responses of RACISM!1!1! and BUSH!!!1!1 Yawn. This has zero to do with Obama's race and everything to do with this allegedly pro-transparency President hiding a piece of information that the public is demanding. Obviously, his actions are hypocritical to all but the most partisan left wingers. So rimrocker, I accept your unconditional surrender in this debate. To the rest of you, I challenge you to answer the question: Why won't Obama release his birth certificate? Serious responses only, por favor.
Pardon me young man, but the grown-ups are talking now. Go find a toy and play outside for awhile. We'll call you when supper's ready.
I guess the first question to be answered is why is there even a need to see Obama's long-form birth certificate if he has already shown his short-form birth certificate? And why did these birthers never ask for Bush's original long-form birth certificate?
Excuse me, rookie, but you were the one resorting to recklessly slinging around accusations of racism after you coudn't produce an answer to a very simple question. That's as low as it gets, frankly. I'm sorry that you are clinging to your pro-secrecy argument and can't acknowledge why it's a legitimate question to ask our nation's public servant to show us his birth certificate.
Because he has already satisfied the requirements to validate his citizenship and there is no need to release any further documentation. I also love how this issue has turned to a matter of "open and transparent" and you are now taking the stand that this is the driving issue. It's not and it never was. This was a race/fear issue all along, and now that there is no legitimate argument to make that he is not a US citizen you are resorting to this excuse to continue challenging him. I challenge you to answer this question: Why didn't you want George Bush to release his long-form birth certificate? Serious responses only, por favor. See you in a few days TJ!
