Yes we are. We just remodled, and have only been open two weeks. As far as what I do. I run the place, I do whatever I want to. Come in anytime between 7pm-2am and ask for Kevin, I'll hook you up with a drinK or something.
33 is cool. You throw a big bash with lots of Rolling Rock for everyone to drink....well thats what I did.
19 = drunk, crazy... good times 20 = drunk, crazy... good times 21 = drunk, crazy... good times 22 = suprise birthday party thrown by ex-girlfriend... ok 23 = dinner and cake from ex-girlfriend... yawn 24 = watching rockets at home alone... whatever 25 = watching astros at home alone... whatever 26 = going to bed at 9pm so i could wake up at 4am to work out before work the next day yeah, it got a lot more dull...
I had my birthday on Saturday too, my 24th. I was looking forward to 23, something about MJ, but I was pretty underwhelmed my the 24th. Was feted by family and then friends and had a great time, but I also happened upon a concert where the crowd was entirely 19-21 years of age, and felt REALLY old. Then again, I feel old around 24-year olds. Nobody wants to swap Ron Harper stories anymore.
Well said, pasox2. also as a ya, here's my suggestion, Franchise2001: Love your parents, they're exactly the people most deserve you eternal love in this world. Cherish your true friends & friendship around, they're your reliable mentors & spiritual companions in life. Learn the knowledge you interested as possible as you can and you'll go far one day. Learning is enjoyable despite the process is suffering. and... happy your 23th birthday
Thanks a lot, dude--I turn 22 next week and now it's going to suck. Doesn't matter though--I've hated my birthdays since I was like 16...
Wow, you know you had a good bday when you don't remember starting a thread... lol I guess the next good bday will be 25. I have never been in a wreck and have never gotten a ticket and my insurance is still $260 a month.
Oh yeah.. and thanks to everyone that wished me a happy bday Happy belated bday to you too Jeff.. I've always enjoy reading your posts.
SWEET MERCIFUL CRAP! You had a baby when you were 48 years old??!?!? WOW! Just think... You're gonna be 64yrs (borderline retirement) when that kid's learning to drive! You'll be almost 70 when he/she's just becoming legal to drink! And at the age of 32, that kid will have an 80-year-old dad! (assuming you live that long) I say again - WOW! -- droxford
Doin' that at age 30. Once you get past the 1st year with the new lovah, life becomes so full of excitement.
Believe me, I've seen plenty of that sweet merciful crap. I stayed home with 3 of my 4 chldren for at least a few months and as many as 10 months. I'm a champion diaperer. Yeah, I've already figured out my youngest daughter's high school graduation present: an endorsed SS check-- if they are still issuing them! Better late than never...
