does tamiflu ordinarily require a prescription?? i thought it was OTC... EDIT -- just googled it...requires a prescription.

yikes. and my childrens' doctor won't prescribe tamiflu unless you already have the symptoms of the flu. not sure how to get any.

We bought some too about a month ago. At any rate, the instructions said that it's preferred that it is taken within 24 hours of getting the flu. I don't see how that's possible to recognize.
my guess? probably when animals mysteriously begin to die all around your home and surrounding area. I'm not a doctor, but I did stay at a holiday inn express last night.
