That's not going to help Osama bin Laden very much. </B> The more likely strategy would be to kidnap Americans around the world and demand bin Laden in exchange for their release. While not necessarily effective, it's the most common way to trying to get political prisoners freed. I hate to say it, but we'd be better off if he just got killed in the process of trying to capture him.

Good point. But it doesn't seem like it'd be too much trouble to fake his death (broadcast injection of knockout drug instead of poison) and THEN lock his ass up.
Yes, but that might just make a martyr out of him. Granted, even if we gave him a "fair" trial and executed him, the crazies are going to consider him a martyr anyway. But there are a lot of people out there who are undecided... and something that stunk of assassination might just tilt them against us.
The man is a coward. He attacks, then runs & hide. Haven is right. If we kill him, he'll become a martyr to the loonies that follow him. Another concern, is that his followers might have a pact of some sort to become suicide bombers all around the world if he's killed. We definitely need to round up his followers &, even more so, his officers. If you cut off the line of communication between the cells, then they should disband, or at least be easier to capture. In the end, when he's trapped, he may actually do the world a favor by committing suicide. Kind of like another mass murderer in world history. Hitler!
