Billy Wagner is a choker!

    I also remember in game 4 in San Diego Leyritz was at the plate and they showed his homerun in game 1 and when they went back to live action the next pitch he crushed it to left. It got so bad in that game even Wally J crushed one. Lima won 17 games that year and didn't pitch at all in the series.

    Yep, you guys are right. When I went home for lunch I checked the tape of the first 2 games of that series, and I was thinking of Greg Vaughn's bomb off Johnson in the first game.

    D@mn Leyritz crushed that one...

    All you need to know about Billy, is that he's a relief thrower, not a relief pitcher.

    He took an up and away 98 mph fastball and blasted it that way. How could he do it? He knew it was coming and it wasn't gonna move. That pitch wasn't even in the strike zone. Leritz was just locked in. Incredible.

    I also remember Spiers dove into 3rd base head first to make the force out on Finley. That was the best defensive play of the series.
