This IS the Ariza we got the first time.
Dude proved with the Lakers he was a very good 3rd/4th option.

What he is not is a play who you go to in order to break down players off the dribble/create ala in his first stint with us.

We initially gave him the tmac leaving toronto chance to flourish but his handle/skill level is just too loose. However, he's a pretty darn good fit on this team. We got Ariza for 7m, versus 15 for Parsons (17.5 if u wanna trade him) and Ariza complements the team much better

C'mon, folks. Obviously Bill was referring to that Parsons guy from H-Town:

That was extremely childish of Bill.

I actually really liked Juaquin Hawkins, wish he had retired as a Rocket.

    I respect this.
This is BW's team. Its not just his job but his passion. If a guy leaves your team and the media is all "how will Houston do without their star SF Parsons" also saying "Houston is a worst team because they lost Parsons." however, Houston fans been knowing the Rockets never saw Parsons as their 3rd star otherwise they would not have been looking for that 3rd star. Parsons obviously got this and signed what's best for him. In that regard is it malicious to inadvertently taunt the media and the player who left?
All he is doing is saying "We Good."

Bill: In project #pursuit, we have no names.

Bull: Now you listen to me Bill.
This is a man and he has a name.
    And it's Robert Horry.

    Bill: Robert Horry.
    He's a man.

Bull: and he is gone now because of us.
    Do you understand that?

    Bill: I understand.
In trading assets, a member of project #pursuit has a name.

Morey, Bull, Clyde and Murph chanting: his name is Robert Horry.

I noticed that Parsons got a shot in while discussing the Mavs upcoming game in Portland...“I’m sure it’ll be not the nicest crowd,” Parsons said. “Maybe [I’m a villain there]. I guess I’m a villain in two of 30 cities. I can deal with that.”

Hmm, wonder what other city he could've meant

Why would he be a villain? His crappy defense helped them advance past the first in for the first time in 14 years! If anything, they should cheer for him

No kidding. The guy manufactures drama every chance he gets. I thought he was too loose with some of the things he said as a Rocket but I guess somehow the other guys kept him somewhat in check. He has been a complete idiot since going to Dallas. I imagine before the All Star break we will start getting quotes from Carlisle and maybe some of the other Mavs players about how they wish he would keep his mouth shut and focus on basketball.

Back to his quote, I guess he means "best SF in the series" thing but, again, Portland fans can only laugh at that since he went on to prove he absolutely was not the best SF in the series.

It's funny that a guy would even aspire to be the best SF in a series.

I bet you won't ever hear Harden or Dwight say that they are the best at their position...in this series. They may say "I'm better than the guy that is going against me..." but to say "I'm the best SF in the series..." almost suggests that you doubt your better than that. Best SF in the playoffs? Now that would be saying something.
