It will be an odd feeling after all these years to tune into the rockets and not hear his voice. [IMG]

Wow, what a turnover in 3 years, even bill...whose next...you telling me turbo won't be back next year? Wish that man the best. He's a clutch city original. Thanks for the being the voice of some incredible memories.

Was this the last buzzer beater he called? Would be fitting since it was on another true Houstonian’s shot.

Sad it came to an end like this, he deserved better. But easier to stop following when the commentary goes completely to ****. Just Ackerman and Drexler or Bullard, awful.

Seriously, I would like to ask Clutch what he honestly thinks about the state of the Houston Rockets right now

I want Laymans terms not that BS jargon

Ackerman I'm ok with. The other 2.....ugh. Glad we didn't have to hear clubbing baby seals this season. :p

He and Murph worked great together. Never was able to recapture that chemistry with anyone else.

    The lines

“cold blooded three from :insert Houston suburb”

    “dunkshot”

“#1 draft pick” (when referring to any teams player picked in the first round)

    will always be my favorites.

The guy has been awful at his job for just about all of the 14 years I've had League Pass, and has barely been able to form a meaningful and coherent thought for years, but a part of me will miss him nonetheless.

Very much looking forward to Craig taking his spot...!

You know what would be awesome.....have a Rockets throwback night for the last game of the season.

Have Bill/Calvin running TV and Gene/Jim running radio. That would be a treat for the fans after this ****ed up shitty ass season.

Don't be sad for Dad. Mr. UH is a Houston institution. In my Mom's yearbook is a shot of Bill as a cheerleader. :D It's classic stuff, want to post it now, but it's in storage.
    He's always been pure Houston.

Maybe it makes me old, but I've always associated Gene Peterson and Foley as my voices the Rockets instead of Worrell. Also, probably because I haven't had the local broadcasts for basically 20 years.

    A true Rockets legend.
    Bill will be missed.

    Has his jersey been retired?
