That's a cold statement to make, man. I see why Behad reacted the way he did.

Anyway addressing the topic, I also don't like the sound of this....thin-air atmosphere or not. I'm beginning to grow a bit weary of all this recent hoopla surrounding Hakeem.

I knew those comments about "fitting in" sounded too good to be true for someone who has just demanded to be waived...

    it´s reckoning day.

Let´s see if Les can pound some sense in Dream´s head. But i´m starting to think this has gone way past the point of return.

Dream has abandoned his team when they needed him most. He should be ashamed of himself.

ZRB, your bull**** is getting old, really fast.

I am OK with Dreams decision. C'mon guys, it's the SIXERS and THEO RATLIFF - give the guy a break. The Rockets are capable of beating the Nuggets away without Dream. Why subject him to the travel, the altitude, the back to back in 2 different cities and chasing LaFrentz out to the 3 pt line after he hasn't played all month?

The Sixers game will be show and tell time for Rudy and Dream!

Is that offer for Kevin Willis, Doug Christie, and the 5th and 12th pick still available?

If the statement by Bill is true, I'd say that's Hakeem's way of saying "waive me". I never thought I'd say this but Hakeem is an I player, not a team player. Granted I not to happy with the current offense, but regardless, I'd play when they asked me to and I'd try hard for rebounds and putbacks - maybe even a few blocks. Go out like a champion Hakeem, not a whiner.

IR him for the rest of the season.

I've tried to stay out of this thing with ZRB for as long as I can. Man, you are a total schmuck!

    Natural born losers?

How many teams do you know that have won back to back titles that are natural born losers? How many teams go into the playoffs as the 6th seed, are written off by most every sports writer in the country more than once as well as a few fellow NBA players only to come back and shock the world and sweep the NBA's biggest darling, Shaq?

You sir are the "natural born loser" for being just like the typical Houston sports fan and making such a pathetic statement.

Why don't you just say they suck while your at it?

    ZRB,

I don't see how you can be so forgiving and optimistic when it comes Dream and all the **** he has laid on the Rockets of late, but when it comes to the actual team, they receive no mercy.

The team is actually playing! The team is not whining about playing time! The team is not asking to be waived so the Rockets can pay it to play for Miami! Hakeem has essentially said f*ck the Houston Rockets and done whatever the hell he wants to improve his situation, Rockets be damned.

But he still sh!ts peaches and cream, doesn't he ZRB? He can do no wrong, and the team (who is actually working hard to improve), well, that's just a laughing stock of losers who have no future, and bad attitudes to boot, right ZRB? Right?

You make me sick. You are not a Rockets fan.

Just by chance -- ZRB, are you known as "Turn" in Chat?

FWIW, calling the Rockets losers while defending Hakeem in his selfish, whining, pissy attitude is hypocritical.

On Hakeem -- So what if the air is thin. 11 other Rockets came to play. We all know Dream has respiratory problems, but don't use this as an excuse for him to bail on the team. I've lost a lot of respect for Hakeem over the past few weeks and this is the culmination of total disregard for loyalty and correctness. Go somewhere else Hakeem -- make yourself happy and stop making the rest of us angry.

On Rockets as losers -- C'mon now ZRB . . . Rockets being "natural born losers" is more than a little harsh. You obviously aren't a Rockets fan, but a Hakeem Olajuwon fan, and I wonder how often you'll show up after he's gone. The Rockets are doing fairly well at this stage. They are below .500, but that's okay. To have watched this team grow and mature in the past few months has been something exciting. The Rockets haven't had hardly any bad losses lately. They are usually one or two posessions away from winning it and that comes with time. Heck, look at how much better they are now than 2 months ago . . . imagine where we'll be 2 months from now!! I'm excited about this team, and its future.
