i think they are both entertaining. i dont agree with waltons take, but he gets paid to say stuff like that and he had valid reasons for what he said.

shaq should know that walton is an analyst and its his job to say stuff that might piss him off from time to time. shaq seemed legitimately pissed and i think his comments were out of line. lots of people have said worse of the trade, but only walton gets slammed?

I think Shaq probably feels betrayed by Walton, another big man who faced injury problems late in his career, not to mention that Bill has always been a huge proponent of centers.

I do think Shaq is being a little arrogant though.

talking about taking these posts way too seroius, good lord..

honkey shooter is an old term we used to use back in the 80s..

    -------------------------------------------------
luke picks 4 celtics and 1 laker

if my entire career was in the rockets, and i was asked what were my 5 fav players and i named 4 jazz players then ralph sampson - i'd look pretty stupid too

tell luke to get himself traded to the celtics

talk about taking things way too serious, dont you think luke was being a little tonge in cheek when he named himself as #5?

your profile says you were born in 78 - so when you were like 5 or 6 you were going around using the term "honkey shooter"?

he picked 3 and two of them are larry bird and kevin mchale and the other happens to be his dad.

again, he only named 3 celtics and one of them was his dad. and if larry bird and kevin mchale had played for the jazz and won as many titles as they did we would have alot of people naming jazz players as their favorites.

Forreal . . but it was funny . . the Ostertag Blast

Also . . .I don't give Walton much credit for the second NBA Championship
because he was more of a tagalong. . while Larry Mchale etc did the heavy lifting

Hey Dr. Phil, next you're gonna tell me my fav. color is blue right?

Anyways, imo he wasn't laughing/smiling when he named himself - so didn't come off jokingly to me

    anyways... let it go

Avoid pointless race baiting, especially ones that have no basis in our reality.

I think what Walton was trying to get at is that players in this league only show up when they feel like playing. Shaq could've played these past few months but chose not to because he wasn't motivated.

All of a sudden he's traded to Phoenix and is super motivated to win a championship and his injury is gone. It's a disgrace to the fans of Miami that paid to show up to games, and the city that supported him.

Tmac did it a few years ago in Orlando, and Vince Carter did it in Toronto. Zo did it to New Jersey. Guys that just gave up because they didn't think they could win anymore. Well you know what? You're still getting paid, so suit up and give it all you've got.

When Nash got to Phoenix they weren't a very good team but you know what? When someone missed a shot, he gave them a butt slap and said lets keep going. You make your team what you want it to be.

Shaq is a disgrace to Miami, rumor is that he even asked for a buyout. Why? He's not healthy enough to play for Miami but he wants a buy out so he can all of a sudden be healthy and play somewhere else? You signed a damn contract, play your heart out. Nash didn't give up when him and Finley were bottom feeders in Dallas all those years. They played through it and became title contenders.

It's the most annoying thing to me. Why is he motivated now to get in shape? Maybe Miami would've won a few more games if he wasn't fat and fouling out every game.

I played the role of Honkey #3 in an off-Broadway production of Stomp.

It's good to see someone call Shaq out on this. He has been living off what he did years ago for too long now.

I mentioned when the trade went down that he was either faking or greatly exaggerating the injury to his hip. Looks like I was right.

Shaq has 4 rings and 3 finals MVP's so like he said he has his respect. Bill is just a hater.

But he has the right to think that. He does have 4 rings and Dream only have 2. So can you blame the man for thinking like that.

You could say what you want about Shaq, but the fact is Miami wouldn't have a championship if it wasn't for Shaq.

I don't normally post my opinion if I don't have anything to add to a subject but...

Your post seriously offends me. I don't care about correcting Bigmarky's hypocritical, racist attitude.. I'm not his father. But I respect this website and most of the members. If integrity is what this site is striving for, moderators allowing posts like Bigmarky's and the word that he used multiple times to neither be cencored or officially addressed is irresponsible and gives this site a really big black eye.

I am a long time fan of this site and a supporter but unless that is addressed, I will have lost too much respect to continue frequenting your website.

    Sincerely,

    Subliminal Shot

you should probably look up the definition of bigotry and find out what it means before you use it to highlight specks of dust in other peoples' eyes whilst a hefty 2x4 protrudes from your own
