Bill Walton: Rocket Hater

I like Bill because of the stupid things he says and how overly dramatic and r****ded he sounds. I don't think there is a single analyst/commentator that actually likes the Rockets.

But Bill hating on the Rockets or any other team that isn't the Spurs is nothing new.

 

man hes a great guy overall and didnt deserve to be boood i was at that game and i felt bad for the guy. i mean the guy was standing with the legends such as clyde and bill russell. i think somebody has to play the bad guy, charles makes a living playing the bad guy, it makes it interesting.

if you havent noticed everyone is talking bad about the rockets right now, including here on the bbs, and its well deserved the team hasnt lived up to what it was hyped up to be.

I like Walton. He is honest and definitely a different sort of guy.

BTW, the impression of him the Frank Caliendo did in that youtube clip on the other thread is the funniest thing I have seen in a while.

 

Walton has said countless good things about Yao and McGrady over the years, and even the Rockets as a team. More good things than I've read in the Garm over the last several days. Except for tonight. If he's been critical, he couldn't come close to what you see in the GARM on a daily basis when we're losing.

 

Get over it, we suck. You guys will cry about anything.

Accurate comments. Walton always gave us praise when deserved and is one of the few guys in the media who still mentions Olajuwon on a regular basis. Or as Walton might say, "basis of regularity". I didn't hear the comments, my TV was muted. But how do we not deserve some criticism at this point?

 

This is quite possibly the WORST thread since the invention of thread in Babylonia in the twelfth century BC.

 

How can you hate Walton? You can't take him too seriously unless you have 0 sense of humor. And he's the biggest YOF EVER!
