actually.... before we won the first championship, I recall he was down on the rockets, and even Hakeem. After Hakeem and the Rockets proved dominant and able to win the big one, he changed his tune. I never cared for the guy because of that, and his later praise of The Dream did little to make me forget it. Later I didn't mind the broadcasts from him so much, never thought he did a bad job except for his playing favorites and pandering. Overall the news to me is... well... meh. I'll never forget though how hilarious he was when calling in before Rockets games in recent years from his mobile.
