With NBA free agency closing in, which big names will most likely be playing in a different uniform come next season? Plus, Brian Windhorst breaks down Melo’s decision. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It would have to be a sign and trade. Side Note CP3, Melo and Blake are all under the Jordan shoe brand....
Oops forgot to include this in the post... Brian is hearing that the Clippers may make a run at Melo...
Plus they would have to give up Jordan (10PPG, 13.5 RPG & 2.5 BPG), Crawford (18.6 PPG) and Reddick (15.2 PPG, .395 3PT%) with nothing back just to get under the cap. That by itself may be too damn much for Melo, but even if it's not they would still have to move other pieces with out taking back salary as well just to offer Melo something over an MLE type of deal.
I've asked before, how do you or Brian think the Clippers are going to get under the cap (and do it far enough) to make Melo an offer?
