I see O'Brien is keeping up the leaks as usual.

Just shut your mouth dude, geez. Do you think it makes you look good that you are a disgruntled employee?

And now everyone knows we want Mahomes. Rick is gonna get ripped of. We're talking about a guy who traded up ONE spot because the team ahead of us threatened to take the guy we wanted.

I wish. I'd be a Texans employee for life.

But Rick sucks too. No one there knows what they're doing.

I can agree that it's not working, that it's not a fit because I'm not sure exactly what BOB does well as a coach. What value does he bring to the Texans? When you bring in an offensive guru and the offense does nothing but get worse each and every year.....what are you doing?

Now sure, RAC has done a great job with the defense, but did we bring in BOB just to bring in RAC? Why not just hire RAC to be the head coach then? At least we could point to things he's done to help the team. We can't do that with BOB.

I'm not rick's son, I don't think he is very good, but whoever we get in the first I will be happy with because he kills at first round... everyone just calm down.

Well I'm just not happy about O'Brien saying he's unhappy during the playoffs and now on draft day.

That doesnt work cause weve all seen RAC as a coach before. OB might not be that offensive guru that weve all hoped for but hes the delegator making sure his DC is not overloaded with work by bringing in guys like Vrabel.

He hasnt said a thing since last year. What are you talking about or reading?

I just mean that Florio has recently been hearing that OBrien is unhappy. Right during draft time.

BOB hates the same things we do, b****-ass owner and sycophant Smith, but he works for them and we don't.

Okay, so bringing in RAC and Vrabel is the sole things BOB has done for the team as head coach. Is that really enough? Doesn't he have to, I dunno, not suck when it comes to being an offensive minded head coach? If we give him the credit for RAC's defense, why hasn't he done the same on offense? Bring in a competent O-Coordinator (because BOB certainly isn't one) and get him some help the way he did with RAC. If BOB is the great delegator in chief, why hasn't he done that on offense? Why has he allowed the offense to get worse every year he's been here?

Well, this year he has no more excuses. Hes anointed himself OC, so this is his final stand as anything credible. We'll just have to wait and see after the year.

Exactly, his method of using the media to get what he wants is embarrassing. Dude have some pride, if you don't want to be here stfu and let your contract run out. This is more leverage bullshit. He must know Vrab is the hc in waiting

The timing of these articles (leaks, if you're of that mindset) is really strange. Less so on draft day, but it pissed me off during the playoffs.

Consider the source, though - Florio is more personality than insider. It's possible O'Brien (or his circle) is feeding him info - but the timing of it would not paint a pretty picture of BOB for any future employer. Also, if he's THAT miserable... why not just leave? He's a well-regarded coach and could likely get a terrific opportunity in college or NFL rather quickly. What were there, five openings this past year? Including some decent destinations (Denver) and three California teams.

Could he have left if he wanted to? He was still under contract.
