Connor Cook is a douchebag. That's why he fell in the draft. The Raiders say they like his "swag." That's keyword for they realize he's a douche, but he's their douche. The kid was never that great in college. He threw his fair share of picks.

It's time to wipe that smirk off his face.

    Edit....Wrong thread. My bad.

Very true, and the fact that they managed 9-6 and the ability to effectively lose the last game on purpose by benching players shows that this year's team is a lot better than teams in previous seasons. The Texans are undoubtedly heading in the right direction.....but sad sacks will be sad sacks.

    CJ has
Lamar Miller has been solid enough
    Nick Martin gets an incomplete
XSF needs improvement... but many wrote of CJ as a bust (including yourself).
The line missing Newton, Martin, aging Brown.... its going to need to be rebuilt, but a healthy Martin and another early round pick this off-season could go a long way towards that.

I know you want him desperately gone... but this team could be a helluva lot worse. Its about 8.5 win talent when fully healthy. Strong defense and both sides playing hard consistently goes a long way (and neither of those will be a given with a new coaching staff).

While his playcalling is atrocious at times , people are wildin if they think would fire him after what he's done these past couple years.

He's already accomplished almost as much as kubiak did in half the time.

Line needs to be rebuilt because he let Brooks and Jones go.

He's already named Brock starter next week

So much for him preferring Savage and ownership forcing Brock on him

Well probably didn't want to keep bringing it up before a playoff game.

If they had lost today it would have been "we are going to evaluate everyone."

Not shocking. Rumors were about an early exit, which would have been an embarrassing loss to a rookie QB. We won.

Question - who is responsible for Crennel being here?

I like how people are poo-pooing 9-7 when the team could have easily been 10-6 if they tried. If they DID try by not resting players, the same folks would have b****ed about that too. And of course no one continues to care that the Texans' version of Derek Carr, who goes by the name of JJ Watt, missed the entire season.

Haven't checked the game thread, but are we blaming BOB for that handoff to Grimes in the second half when it was 3rd and 2 or whatever? I think BOB gets blamed for 'playcalling' a lot of times when Brock does the wrong thing.

I dont understand why McNair took so long to finally say something publicly? I would be pissed if I were Billy O. And what the hell does "planning to have him back next year" mean? He has 2 years left on his contract bob. WTF?

Yeah, I don't know if something got lost in translation, but it reads kind of odd to me too.
