Yeah, Joe Scarborough the conservative ex congressman who is on in the morning for a couple of hours is such a liberal.

It is good to know that Hightop considers whatever Clinton says, even while joking, as the gospel.

He also seems to believe the same about words from Dr. Paul's mouth. Is Hightop just gullible?

Besides crying about it on a message board, what are you doing to stop it?

All it needs then is legions of septugenerian moron viewers who believe that Mitt Romney is a closeted polygamist without a real birth certificate.

it wouldn't be a true liberal post unless it attempts to belittle the intelligence of the right.

    SamFisher, you've just quit trying.

    A disappointment in my view.

CNN is Fox light. Conservative propaganda mostly, but a little slicker.

For those naive enough to think any of the news is totally neutral fact weighers (apparently many in this thread) I commend nightly watching of ABC Nightly News.

What they don't cover is almost as revealing as what they do cover. Of a potentially valuable 20 minutes of "news" between commercials about 5 minutes is important hard news. The rest could be on just about any other entertainment program. A good deed by a kindergarten class or the heorics of a blind skier etc.

They constantly subtly trash government as a whole just about as often as the rest of corporate Americ, including FOX.. Their style is smoother than a style of say Ed Schultz, but there is definitely an underlying ideology guiding their coverage and especially their selection of topics.

Sometimes coverage seems poll driven as in last few years they will start having frequent stories mildly critical of say the Iraq War for a couple of months and then if there is something like the "surge" which prevailiing wisdom viewed as a great success and , all of a sudden all stories about Iraq will range from wildly optimistic to feel good stories about operations done on Iraqi children in the US for burns caused by US fire. etc.

Virtually every night they will talk about extreme weather happenings without ever mentioning climate change. Similarly they can go years without ever having any mention of something good a labor union has ever done. Poverty and other man made misery are never talked about in terms of what could possibly have caused it. Greeks and French and most Europeans are routinely and dishonestly presented as lazy folks who want to retire at 55 and live off the government. Corporate scandals are usually down played but don't let the government have a conference that is not at motel six or a school hall etc. etc.

Where do you get your news? A live feed to Michael Moore and Kos? Venezuelan state radio?
