Here's all you have to remember about someone like BigTexx. Anyone who holds extremist views is eventually going to get tangled up, or awash, in their B.S. It makes perfect sense- because it's impossible for someone like Obama to be as bad as BigTexxx or someone like Basso make him out to be, they're eventually going to get caught up in hypocrisy. That goes for extremist liberals who blamed Bush for everything. Eventually, they'll be exposed. Now you have someone like BigTexx- and we can just imagine what he thought of Bill Clinton back in the day- using Clinton to support his point. These extremists are the same ones like on Fox who said, "You can't blame Bush for the high gas prices"- actually, they said you can't blame a President for high gas prices- and then they blame Obama. It'd be truly funny if it wasn't so pathetic. I don't see how they can function in real-life with that distortionary outlook on things- unless they act like normal during their everyday lives and only become schizophrenic when it comes to politics. Entirely possible.

 

I'm sure Bill Clinton wishes his wife were President (then he could be "First Philanderer") instead of Obama, but rest assured the conservative NY Post and the author in question can twist the "story" however they want.

Exactly- their whole premise makes no sense. You have economists who say that in the midst of a severe recession, the government should act as a stimulus. You have Obama's voting record which indicates that he is, overall, a moderate President, yet he is the most liberal President we've ever had, times 10. You have smart decisions by Obama being labeled as no-brainers, yet his mistakes are all his own and utterly horrendous. Really, you could get some of the country's best comedy writers and they couldn't come up with stuff as good as this. This is what happens when you let extremism, paranoia, and all that accompanies it rule the day.

There are always feasible explanations if there are people who want to believe them hard enough.

 

Not me. Obama lacks many of Clinton's gifts, including a strong and effective will, but he's not a DINO.

Clinton said he'd enact gays in the military on day one. Instead he polled everybody and created the first government-sanctioned closeting program of all time. Its literal function was to tell gays to stay closeted. (And LGBT love this guy! It is r****ded.)

And the welfare reform he co-created with Newt and the rest, while taking paid advice from WH staffer Dick Morris(!!!), was positively draconian, and it took a lot out on food for starving American children.

Bill Clinton is obviously a brilliant man. He is probably one of the most brilliant men of our time. And he is hell of likable. But he was also a very cynical politician and his entire premise as one is best represented by the DLC, with whom he was very influential. The Democratic Leadership Council whose sole purpose was to elect more Democrats by moving the party to the right and acting more like Republicans.

His legacy endures and the liberal Democrats that used to form the base and the center of the party are now few and the ones that remain are relegated to the status of the radical.

Bill Clinton did that. He picked up the country, turned it 90 degrees to its right, and set it back down again.

And let's be serious. Dick Morris as a WH adviser? To a Democrat? He's like Clinton's own Jeff Gannon, the difference being Bush didn't actually hire Gannon or take advice from him.

 

Clinton would take Obama over anyone, except maybe his wife. I think the press severely underestates how close these people are.
