I dont care if what any of you guys say but none of you guys can say anything bad about T-Mac (by the way his name isnt T-Quit or She-Mac). He has been playing on a knee that needs MICROSCOPIC SURGERY he has been playing on it all year. You think he quit on the rockets when some scrub dunked over him, what about al the times Yao has been dunked on, or Hakeem did you say they were quiters, no, so why would you say that about T-Mac, he had a bad season. Every single one of the douche bag members on here that say he is a quiter is just plain dumb i honestly dont care if i get chewed out by any of you guys because all your guys want to do is blame someone when everything goes wrong...

We're fans, we're entitled to call our underachieving star player anything we want whether he scores 13 points in less than a minute or when he decides HIMSELF (not the team, not doctors, not the trainers) that he's done.

Something that should have been done, IMO, weeks ago. He got butthurt when teammates were calling him out and wanted to prove doubters wrong. Big mistake.

No he didn't just get dunked on. If you don't remember (or didn't even watch the highlights), he halfassed back on defense, just stood there, and THEN got dunk. It's different when you're actually putting effort into NOT getting dunked on then when you're pretty much pulling down your shorts and grabbing your ankles preparing for Jamario Moon.

Yea we do want to blame someone when it goes wrong and this time, the collective is right to blame McGrady for this disastrous season.

"I'm going to make Stromile into an All-Star"
    "It's all on me"

Among the other gems he has said the past few years. If McGrady wasn't a basketball player, he would be a great car salesman. He sells on empty promises and false hopes better than anyone I've ever seen.

The fact (and it IS a fact) of the matter is, in Adelman's system, McGrady is the square peg. The Rockets, without McGrady, run the offensive system with better efficiency and better ball movement than with him. Tracy's ego took a hit when he realized this and he's pulling this prima donna act because he can no longer accept that he's not Tracy McGrady, Mr. Scoring Champ.

But back to the original question, Pippen is still the undisputed quitter of all time with McGrady being a strong #2.

More Beloved Rocket? McGrady or Pippen?

Neither one ever got us out of the first round. Lets go to effort level. In a very heated battle...I would have to give the edge to Pippen. If it came down to those two...Scottie Pippen is my favorite Rocket of all time. Thats pretty sad for Tracy.

OP, you might be a nice guy, but this is inexcusable. don't start a new thread just for sh1ts & giggles. like the poster before me just pointed out, there was a thread yesterday about this EXACT thing.

i don't think i'm being unreasonable to berate you. call me a thread nazi if you wish, but this thread is unnecessary.

    ibtl.
