Lying takes skills. Kobe is not a good liar. He simply doesn't have the skills to do it. When wanting to lie, the good liars know how to tell parts of the truth, but lies about the more important parts. The true parts will make people think that the whole thing is true, and thus believe everything he/she says. Kobe, however, almost tells everything as a lie. He lost almost all of his credibility this past summer, when after he booted out PJ and Shaq, he came out in front of the media and tried to sugarcoat everything. It was too blatant and obvious. There is simply no room for people to believe him after all that happened. The truest moment for Kobe with the media is at the beginning of last year, he came out and bashed Shaq for almost 30 minutes in an exclusive interview. In that interview, he couldn't have been more sincere. You pretty much need to believe him, because he was too passionate about what he was saying. However, after that, especially after the rape trial in which he was trained extensively by his lawyers and advisors, he simply hasn't been sincere when he was to be put in front of a microphone. And you can tell it. The lowest moment was when he called ESPN and interviewed live with Greg Anthony and Steven A Smith in front of the nation, and said he didn't call Shaq after he moved to Miami because he didn't have his phone number. The lies are simply too coarse and it's embarrassing and even laughable. I find it funny that now days, whatever Kobe says in front of media, you can reverse it and it probably is the truth. If Kobe wants to keep lying(which is wrong, BTW), he needs to get training, because he's getting worse and worse at it.
What about the guy (what's his name?) who said he didn't kick the cameraman when everybody in the arena saw it? Oh, didn't he also said he had family emergency when he wanted to go to the Super Bowl?
It's a massive difference to (1) sign an under the table written agreement that the team would sign a player for 3 years @ the MLE to obtain the bird rights and then immediately resign the player to X amount of dollars and years, vs (2) verbally agree not to pick up the team option at low money with the understanding that the player would resign for a better deal. I'm confused what you're saying. Unlike Joe Smith / Mo Taylor / Shandon Anderson, the Cavs didn't "lure" Boozer to them with a promise. They drafted him and he signed a 2-3 year deal. How could they promise Boozer the "hook up" when they offered him the very max that they possibly could that summer if they let him free? Are you saying that they promised to Boozer that they would let him free and then dump all their non-LeBron players in complicated cap moves in a span of a week or two in order to offer Boozer more than the full MLE? Or are you saying that Boozer didn't want to be free, but the Cavs figured no one would/could offer him more, so they thought they would "stick him" by making him a free agent and offering him the $40+ million deal? There's really no other "Cavs are the evil ones" scenario... or am I wrong?

weisbrod in my opinion....simply because it seems like every promise and everything he said to and about players and coaches on his team was either a lie or a promise that was not lived up to. but i love him because he sent us a great gift
I'm taking back the 'great guy' part. And i'd have to say that his lying is starting to backfire on him. Always knew he was a sneaky b*stard.
I think kobe. He is always acting injured so that he will appear to be the hero if he does well and the Lakers win for playing injured. Or he has a built in excuse in case his team loses. He is one of very few people I know that are more dishonest than they are genuine.
