Can you think of anything those 4 games have in common?

It is very simple. Do the math. If Harden had no turnovers in the Wizards game along w. 53 pts, 13 assists and 47 minutes we would have won. Likewise w the Mavericks game. If he had just had the 25 points 17 assists and the 11 rb's without a turnover we could have perhaps won it.
Besides many players are thinner and some guys don't go out to clubs as often.

Do the fan bases of other MVP's rag continually on their MVP's like this forum does?

It's always hilarious when people try to interpret stats without context or understanding.

All harden does is flop and get calls and not play defense. That’s why cp3 and Melo won’t play with him. He’s not even that good at basketball, if you look at historical statistics you’ll see he really doesn’t win that much. He doesn’t get steals. He didn’t score 20 points one time because he’s trash.

The biggest issue is wearing Harden down so that when CP3 is healthy, Harden has to/can finally sit. Rinse, repeat ad nauseum... #purgatory

It's being ignored because it isn't new. His TOs always go up when Cp3 is out

harden is the only one who actually cares

morey, mda, cp3, capela, entire team don't

they all depend on harden carrying the team night in and night out ever since he got here

Imagine waking up one morning, and thinking that the BIGGEST issue with the Houston Rockets, is Harden’s turnovers.

Just imagine waking up with that level of stupidity. Bruv, with those kind of assessments, how does one even go about a routine life.

Imagine driving through traffic at 7 am stressed out with everyone cutting you off, no coffee, never ending bumper to bumper, & then thinking, that the biggest issue in your life is the literal quality of the medians.

Do you remember when the Rockets sucked and Clutchfans found a way to blame, the only durable player on the squad that happens to be the only reason we’re in games, to blame?

    Pepperidge farms remembers.

Pointing out turnovers of harden is incredibly dumb since hes the only guy doing anything while paul is out. Can u imagine the wear and tear of 36+ minutes playmaking because no one else can dribble the basketball?

When you have to create for a score every damn possession on the court you're bound to have turnovers and bad defensive lapses. Thats why Chris Paul makes him a more complete player. Unfortunately we just need to wait patiently for the coming months to see how we can build this team's roster

We should sit him and play one of our other guards, such as Brandon knight or CP3. I have no clue why they haven’t been playing. Just go to CVS, take care of your issues, and come ball.

Half his turnovers are him throwing passes believing that NBA defenders don't have arms. He sometimes does the laziest and dumbest passes I've ever seen .

Harden actually has gotten better at ball security while dribbling over the past two seasons. He was actually pretty suspect with that a couple seasons back when opposing teams pressed him.

It's mostly his passing. It's horribly lazy.

It has, down about 6%. Out of all potential reasons, I think it's mostly due to opposing teams targeting our switch everything defense, teams are switching Clint out to the perimeter and opposing bigs are gobbling up offensive rebounds with him out of the paint. We would benefit greatly from having a 4 who's capable of rebounding and interior defense, but of course, finding a 4 who can rebound, defend centers and hit 3's is like finding a unicorn. Morey should call up Cam Oliver on a 10 day to see what he can do.

Outside of defensive rebounding, I'm fairly impressed with the productivity Clint has retained with his large increase of minutes though. Never would have thought Clint would be putting up 17/12 & 2 on 65%, never thought he'd be averaging 35 mpg.

We would benefit greatly if the defender who who switches with Capella which forces him to guard the perimeter decides "you know what, for once, I'm actually going to fight through the pick like NBA players before me have done and let my big man stay in the paint where he belongs" but I think the wings and guards on this team are too lazy to do that .

Well yes that would help too, it's not the wings being lazy it's our defensive system. We mindlessly switch, even on non shooters. We'll see if that changes, but it's clear our coaching/FO believe that switch everything is the best route.

probably btw imho its more a result of coasting or lack of urgency
after we started bad we then went on a 8-2 streak and were the best team in nba for that stretch of 10 games..the guys showed they still have it...and our defense was pretty pretty good like top 5 or something

at that time after the bad start was overcome gerald green openly admitted that because we were good last year that our guys incorrectly assumed it will be easy for us this year to win games without giving a great effort
