One part of me doesn't like the fact that they might get rid of the hill. It's a very unique element that doesn't detract from the overall look of the field and very rarely comes into play anyways. But if they were to take that space and make a place to more prominently display all the pennants that they had to shuffle around to make room for the Community Leaders signage, I might be down for it. I just hope that isn't code for more advertising.
this is good news, i personally hope crane is considering a major overhaul about the fence distances and seating setup in left to center. bring in center field, add seating where tals hill and the green patch is and remove the crawford boxes..
#1 - Crawford Boxes are awesome #2 - You don't put seating in CF because it is a distraction to the hitters.
