Based on today's performance, pretty well. From ESPN's game recap:

Young got criticized in that win, many wondering if he was really Heisman material if he couldn't dominate against the 109th ranked defense in the country. There were no questions this time. In the two-plus quarters he played, he finished 14-for-17 for 193 yards with three touchdown passes.

    ...

His second touchdown throw, a 31-yarder to Limas Sweed (five catches, 102 yards), was well covered but nearly impossible to defend because of the way Sweed screened himself away from the defender and the way Young threw the pass, so nobody but his receiver could catch it.

Young's 8-yard TD to David Thomas was similarly brilliant, thrown toward the sideline as Thomas laid out to make the catch -- again well covered, but in a spot where only he could make the play.

Maybe Young's best play, though, was his 2-yard touchdown run, a play in which all four Texas receivers were covered, as were all the outside running lanes for the mobile QB. So, Young simply picked and poked and tiptoed his way through the inside, knocking down his own teammate, guard Will Allen, to get to the end zone standing up.

stop trying to twist my words,

    I will rephrase

Vince had a good game against a bad Colorado team. Lets see what happens in the national title game.

He did not have the greatest game against osu either

I twisted your words where exactly? It's a TEAM game, and Vince has done nothing but lead his "team" to wins all year long, and even against a good team, at the Shoe. [/Shocker, eh?]

He may not have had the greatest game, but he led 'em to a win. That's called Scoreboard. He led his "team" to 12 wins this year, and that equals Rose Bowl.

Seriously, do you really think a USC D that got whipped by a Fresno State team (who were in turn ownd by friggin' Nevada) is going to stop Vince? Everyone outside of Texas thought Michigan was gonna roll last year in this same stadium...yet we all know what Vince did there.

I thought Ut would win that game. I think this game will be great too. Vince has had a great year. And your paragraph sums up my thoughts completely. He does what he needs to do to win. I think he gets too much credit, thats my beef with him

Vince did not beat Texas. Ohio State's offense beat Ohio State. Hamby could've caught that ball and where would Texas be?

    I should certainly hope now.

If my aunt had a scrotum, what would she be?

If Bush does not shove Leinart into the end zone from behind, where would USC be?

If Pinegar does not throw 4 picks vs. USC, including one on a potential game-tying score, where would USC be?

If Arizona St. or Fresno could hold double digit halftime leads on the Trojans, where would USC be?

The "Conjecture Game" is my favorite on family game night....Too bad it doesn't mean a damn thing other than wondering "what if...."
