I think the Pedro Martinez quote sums this up best

"Who's Tom Tolbert? I have no respect for Tom Tolbert."

The reason Toastbert got started was when he was playing for the Clippers. He couldn't get any play time, so he spent a lot of time drove around and calling the sports talk show. One of the talk show found out he was a pro athlete, actually playing for the Clippers, they were very excited, made some kind of arrangement with him to call in every week. That's how he got started.

Late in his career, if you can call that a career, with the Warriors, he did the same thing with the local sports talk radio, KNBR680. One thing lead to another, he became a co-host for the station after no team wanted him to take up the bench space.

One thing about Toastbert is that he can talk, and he is not afraid of been look stupid. That's why many listener like him, they think he is funny, though stupid, but honest.

His biggest hobby? WWF & Vegas Casino. :p

Man, it's scary that I know so much about this guy?:D

    Lakers = ratings

Therefore, all the sportscasters/commentators are Lakers-jock-sniffers.

Sums, ESPN is the MTV of sports.

Anyway, I didn't expect the Rockets to win the series but why are people dismissing them as if the Lakers have been beating down on Houston?

Again, how did Tom Tolbert get his job, and how does he STILL have it?
Is Stern bi-curious and have some sort of fetish for white, bald dumb@sses?
That whole damn ESPN/ABC line-up is terrible(except for Walton and his humor).

OK you whiners with short memories, let's compare what the Lakers and the Rockets have accomplished in the past 4 years:

    The Houston Rockets:
Out of the playoffs and in the NBA lottery for the past 4 years.

    The Los Angeles Lakers:
Won the NBA Championship for 3 of the past 4 years.

    Any questions?

To get respect, you have to EARN it. Being a lottery team is NOT the proper way to earn respect.

We are not a lottery team this year, and we fought hard. Nothing wrong for the fans to be uncomfortable with all the diss. Come on, did we get enough respect during our champion years? Do the spurs get enough respect in media? You know what, I liked Spurs to win last year, coz they were a better team. I liked their chance again, they are a better team. If the Lakers have to blame someone afterwards, they should blame Phil to get Malone and GP, coz bandwagon jumper were, are, and will never be rewarded.

cnn news channel is the liberial bias channel while the liberials b**** about Fox news being a conservative news channel. Fox news channel is fair and balanced and because they are fair and balanced in the middle it puts them far, far right compared to the rest of the biased liberial news channels and media like cnn, abc, mtv, ny times etc....
