Big: Wasted my time getting a degree in something completely useless for anything I want to do now.

Small: Not hitting the gym as much as I should have recently.

    Bigs:

Letting too many good girls get away. One particular one told me she loved me and that scared me away. Now I can't find anyone to meet much less to like me.

Waisting a bunch money at the local Casinos.

Small: Too many. Prob involves girls again to a smaller degree.

I have a lot of regrets so not sure where to start.

Here are a couple of big ones.

Big 1: Not staying in the SF Bay area at the start of the dot com boom. Of course given that the dot com boom busted I could be at the same financial status now even if I had gotten into it.

Big 2: Not hooking up with a Stanford cheerleader. I had a very good shot at one and possibly a shot at another but like a fool I had no chance at and got shot down.

Small: Spending too much at the bar.

    One of my favorite quotes:

"When I was seven, I thought my father new everything. When I was fourteeen, I thought he knew nothing. When I was twenty-one, I was amazed at how much the old man had learned in seven years."

    --Mark Twain

I put that quote on a birthday card to my dad when I was ~25. One of the truest statements I have ever read.

Big - Drinking and partying too much in college. I had a lot of fun, but I should have worked hard and played hard (like my friends) instead of just working enough to squeak by with a degree while not having it get in the way of partying. I also would have got a different degree. In hindsight, music was a mistake. You don't need a degree to be a working musician, but you DO need one to be a working accountant.

Small - Finishing that whole pizza last night. Does anyone have any Rolaids?

Big- Not trying harder when I could have

small- Having that "one too many" before running into Robert Horry this past Saturday night, and pseudo-ruining a potential cool brush with a rockets hero. Oh, and yes, useless without pics, and sadly, i had a camera in my pocket. Obtrusively sidling while he spoke to a young lady, then wedging a moment in "Heyyyyy mannn, Jussss wanna sthay... thankss forrr 94-95, mannn, AWWeeesommee".... ridiculous. Fail... or at least a D-.

Yeah, it coulda been worse.. and as many have said, better to regret something you did, than something you didn't do.

Big 3- Getting caught with my high school band director's daughter by my high school band director.

Small- Going all-in on J/9 offsuit last night.

Small - Being not able to get up at 4:30am to work out...I haven't worked out in three weeks. Help?

Big: Not taking Notary Public school seriously enough. I should have partied less, and studied more. Now I can only shake my head every time I see a group of high powered Notaries enjoying the good life, while I humbly refill their glasses of White Zinfandel.

Small: Every time someone in my family has to pay the fee to get a document notarized.
