No its not that big of a deal, but thanks. people dont call you out and say that your posts are ridiculous. Im sorry for using a term that I have been using all of my life. Im so freakin stupid.
You know something, fade? Remember when you told me that I could be so obnoxious sometimes?? Looks like you aren't any better.
Buck, We have 3 of those in the garden. The biggest one moves FAST; I don't think that I can catch it.
Well, I'll jog your memory, grammar boy - it was during Pued's best poster tournament. It was in one of those threads in which I went up against somebody like RocketmanTex and got mad at Sir Jackie Chiles and you said "that's why I don't vote for you because you can be so obnoxious sometimes." As you can see, I don't forget things (doesn't necessarily mean I hold grudges). However, I find it comical that you feel compelled to point out these grammatical mistakes when you whined about how obnoxious I *can* be in the past. Sorta reminds me of that saying of "the pot calling the kettle black", huh?
Dude, I'm not the only one or have you not read all the posts in this thread or the one by Htownhero in the Feedback Forum?? Maybe I should have not said anything to you, but this schtick of you "correcting" people on their grammar is obnoxious to me and apparently to others, as well. It is a damn message board for chrissakes....let that stuff go...that is all I'm saying.
Er, gee thanks, I think. Your request has been duly noted (who the hell are you, the BBS hall monitor? ). I'll just say this and I'm done with this thread: I consider fadeaway to be a very good poster, and when he said that I could be obnoxious at times, that opened my eyes. I have tried to do better in that regard (although I guess it can be argued that I'm being obnoxious right now...oh well) simply because I respect fadeaway as a poster. Now, he may despise me, but I hope he realizes that I have improved since I started here. With that being said, I feel that the thing that I have complained to him about takes away from his quality of posting. I guess I didn't pick the best way of relaying my thoughts on that to him, but that is all I really wanted to say about it. Sorry for derailing this thread.
I'm touched that you would get so worked up over little old me, Manny, I really am. Not. The fact of the matter is, "could of" looks ridiculous, and I am not the only one who feels this way. Others have come out and stated that they get annoyed with poor grammar, too. It's not like I'm coming out and insulting anyone (like you tend to do); just offering suggestions for clearer communication. Besides, you're making a mountain out of a molehill. In my entire BBS career I would say that less than ten of my posts have been grammar corrections. That really isn't very many for someone with a reputation as a 'grammar fiend'. Let's not further pollute this otherwise interesting thread with this pointless drivel. If you have a problem with me, you can always complain via email. Not that I particularly want to get flame emails from you, but it's better than having you whine publicly. Drew, The error is ridiculous, not the thread. The thread is awesome.
fade: Refer my post above yours. You think I'm getting worked up over you?? ROTFLMFAO!! Don't flatter yourself. I just wanted to give you a challenge: you are so "sure and confident" that all I do around here is insult people. See if you can find 4 examples of me insulting people starting with yesterday and going back 3 weeks, and sorry but jokes with moe, DoD, RM95, etc don't count. Let me know when you complete this assignment, and oh, a good night to you and yours!
(*lol*) Nah, I think I'll pass on the little scavenger hunt. And for the record Manny, no, I don't despise you. Please let this be the last of this pointless exchange.
: In the voice of the highschool football coach in Varsity BLues : DONT **** WITH MY THREAD!!! ..... Of course, im only kidding because I am not an obnoxious ****face. Note: I used "an" where a common mistake of using "a" often occurs. 2nd note: Why do I get the feeling the hammer is about to come down on this thread?
um, maybe i missed something but what kind of spider is that on page one (the very large picture)? i ask because i found one of those last week on my front patio. it was easily the size of the palm of my hand (i'm 6'4", so i have fairly large hands). anyhoo, i killed it - no questions asked - but i have noticed a lot of little baby spiders since then. i'm just wondering what kind it is...is it dangerous, etc. ps. the spider some of you guys were referring to is the "brown recluse". they aren't very big, but they can f*** you up quickly.
