title's kind of misleading....it's a tour through China, not actual play in a Chinese league.

Oh man it wouldn't even be fair. Imagine 50-60 point blowouts.

Why not tour through the US? You'd probably make more money...

Actually this is probably good for the NBA in general

Maybe they should do a WORLD TOUR from time to time
    Like the Globe Trotters

They're only doing this because of the lockout. I hope Stern realizes he just screwed himself if Derek leaves. Talks are going to be even slower.

They're not even in a rush to get to the table.

They will be once the NBA starts losing popularity. I just hope the players hold out when they start taking a hit. Stern should get NOTHING. Force that guy out of the commish spot.

Until KD or Derrick Rose tear an ACL from dunking in a meaningless exhibition game. THEN, the owner would have to faceplam for being so stupid.

Once players start missing checks, there will be an urgency to get something done. Like the rest of us, they all have their mortgage, bills, etc... Bigger paycheck, bigger mortgage.

Still, I can see the start of season postponed until Jan. or Feb. If gets much later than that, Stern will cancel the season altogether. Man is dick.

The only players who will sign in Europe are Asia (or do exhibitions, or whatever) are the players who really need the cash.

So once some of those players take the bait and sign some kind of contract with another league and their NBA contract is voided, what is their status as Free Agents? I would assume that their old contracting team would hold their rights indefinitely...
